LET’S SOW A SEED

“Working on the farm all day long, everybody sing the planting song.”

Planting seeds with kids is one of their favourite activities. On 3rd October, BIS blooming buds brought their own transparent disposable glasses and were fascinated to see how the seeds were sown into the soil. They took care of the seeds by watering them daily. When the sapling popped out through the soil, the biggest smile and a feeling of ardour appeared on their faces. They promised that they would continue nurturing them and helping them to get plenty of water and light.

Multiple Intelligence- Workshop for

Educators

The world of teaching has evolved drastically and it is now the need of the hour, whereby educators need to raise their level to make the teaching more unique and effective. Pre-Primary teachers attended the workshop on “Multiple Intelligence” by Ms.Sharil Dimri. The workshop was very informative through which Ms. Sharil clearly demonstrated different kinds of “multiple intelligences”. This workshop inspired the teachers to be more creative and innovative in their teaching. As the world is changing rapidly and becoming smaller, faster and more competitive, the 21st century learning design requires a new and dynamic approach using multiple intelligences theory in order to cater to the needs of individual student. The goal was to see the benefits of using

multiple intelligence in classroom teaching which will further help

students to acquire skills for future.

Recycle Day

“BIS Recyclers is our name, Recycling and Reusing is our game!”

Recycling is a simple game of saving, matching and sorting. The recycling game is fun to play because the rules are easy to understand and follow. Unfortunately, in today’s society, we have forgotten how to play the recycling game. Living in a fast-paced, high-tech world of disposables, we have become a “throwaway” society; a society that has taken the attitude of: “It’s okay, throw it away.” BIS kids realised and relearned the recycling game on 26th October through their active Recycle Drive.
