Directions for Tallying the Project’s Total Cost

Use the ledger on the other side of this paper to complete the tally for the final cost of your group’s model. Each group member is responsible for completing their own tally.

Some Rules for Keeping Track:

Hold on to any receipts for items purchased in your STEAM group’s

bucket

Try to reuse/recycle as many items from home as you can

o Items reused/recycled from home are worth negative dollar

amounts and can be subtracted from your total cost calculation

Pricing for reused/recycled items from home:

Cardboard Box $1 per box

Legos $1 flat rate

Toys $.05 per piece (only count if used in model)

Art Supplies from home (paint, glue, tape etc.) $2 flat rate
