Topic : My FamilyLS : 1.1.1 (g) 1.1.3
LO : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to
blend and segment words with the sound /er /.
ACT :
1.Tcr introduces the song to the pupils. Ps sing together with
her.
2.Tcr takes out the focus words and does the blending and
segmenting activity.
3. Teacher shows pupils pictures of father and mother andasks pupils few questions.( eg. Who is this? , Who has long
hair?)
4. Ps sing the song again and subsititute the word mother to
sister, father to brother.TA : Song lyrics , word strips

Topic : My FamilyLS : 2.2.4
LO : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to read
a paragraph of 5 to 8 simple sentences
ACT :
1.Tcr discusses on a family photo.
2.Tcr reads the text and the ps listen.
3. Jigsaw reading ( 1 ps 1 sentence ).
4. Rearrange the sentences ( some groups will get fathers
details and the rest get mothers details )5.Tcr calls few ps to read with expression.

write words, phrases and simple sentences with guidance.
ACT :
1.Tcr shows picture and asks the ps WH question on it
2.Tcr calls a few ps to come to the front and write out the
spelling of the words ( mother, teacher,long hair )
3. Tcr puts up the text. Ps read the text
4. Ps fill in the missing words using word card to complete thetext.
5.Ps do the activities according to their level.

sentences learnt in the previous lesson.
