Assumed knowledge: Talk about daily routines;

Lesson aims:

- to express daily routines;- to put some paragraphs in order;- to identify the adverbs of frequency;- to create a relaxed atmosphere in the classroom;

Cognitive Objectives:

By the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

- to make up sentences about daily routines;

- to use the correct forms of the Present Simple tense.

Affective Objectives:

-stimulate their imagination;

-become self-confident when speaking a foreign language;

-create a friendly atmosphere in order to offer the background for smooth, easy conversations

between teacher and students.

Announcing the lesson topic

Practice:

First activity:

Group Working;

Teacher writes the title of the lesson on the board: Daily routines

Teacher tells the Ss that the lesson aim is to talk about the things that they do in everyday life.

Teacher asks each student to choose a coloured ticket (red, yellow, blue, green or purple); Each ticket corresponds to a certain group.

Each group is given a chart (containing the daily activities that Mary does) and some incomplete sentences. Using the information in the chart, ss should fill in the gaps of the sentence.

Ss write the title in their notebooks.

The students choosing the same colour make up a group and so fulfill a certain task;

Ss read the final form of the sentences.
