Topic Unit 6: Care for the Sea

Content Standard 3.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to form letters and words in neat legible print including cursive writing.3.2 By the end of the 6 year primary schooling, pupils will be able to write using appropriate language, form and style for a range of purposes.

Lesson Objectives By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:1. fill in the blanks with the correct words to complete the paragraphs.2. write the correct sentences to match with the pictures.

Activities Brainstorming! Teacher asks questions about things that can be recycled. The pupils respond orally and write the answers on the blackboard.

Fill in The Blanks and Puzzle! Pupils write the correct words to complete the paragraph based on story “Cleaning Up the Beach” Pupils reassemble the puzzle to form one meaningful picture (recycle items). This activity is conducted in groups

Worksheet! Pupils write the correct sentences to match with the pictures in the worksheet. This is an individual work.

Let’s create! Teacher shows the example of the recycle item cards. Pupils create their own recycle items cards. Teachers display pupils’ artwork in the class.
