    Year : 2010/2011

    Standard Competence : 4. Analyze the relation between component of ecosystem,

    changes of material and energy, and also the role of human in

    establishment of ecosystem

    Basic Competence : 4.3 Analyze the kinds of waste and the recycling of waste.

    Indicator :

    4.3.1 Students can explain the kinds of waste based on their classification

    4.3.2 Students can group the kinds of waste based on how to handle them

    4.3.3 Students can mention at least 3 product of waste recycling result

    4.3.4 Students can give their opinion about how to solve waste problem in related figure.

    Objectives :

    Students are able to analyze the kinds of waste, group them based on how to handle

    them, and mention the products of waste recycling.

    Students are able to give solution to solve waste problem in related figure.

    1 Opening Activity

    a. Greet the students

    b. Give apperception to student about the previous

    topic.

    c. Give a video about the way to decrease pollution

    2 Core Activity

    a. Divide students into 3 groups heterogenously.

    Give different figure (about waste) to each

    group. Work sheet is gave as guide of

    discussion.

    b. Each group present their result of discussion

    c. Teacher asks students which part is still not clear

    for them and explains more about that.

    25 minutes

    3 Closing Activity

    a. Give assessment to students to know their

    knowledge achievement.

    b. Ask student to write their reflection about topic

    today in Reflection Paper

    c. Deliver the next topic
