The teacher will conduct a jeopardy style game to assist in the final review of the 4 concepts.  2.The teacher will conduct a poll with the use of cell phones and engage in computer software game  3.The teacher will correct their worksheets and notice their progress throughout the jeopardy game.

• Anticipatory Set – The hook for this activity will involve the bonus points for their

final exam. Everyone who participates will be receiving two bonus points for the exam. However, the winners will receive an additional three points to add to their total on their final exam.

• Activating Prior Knowledge: – Hello boys and girls, I would like to start off our final class with a review.

What are the four major concepts we learned this year? (The students will respond with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.) For example, what is 23 plus 12? And what is 45-23? Then what is 12 times 3? Finally, what is 54 divided by 9? To prepare for our final exam, we will be conducting a final review through the game of jeopardy.

– I hoped all of you benefited from this final review because all of the questions will be on the final. They will be the same questions but put in different order. To help all of you review even more, there are two worksheets for practice that you can practice by yourself to receive additional help. If there are any questions, we will have a small amount of time before the test to ask any questions.

•  Additional Concept Related Activity:

– If there is additional time, I will play the game around the world. This game involves the teacher asking two students at a time a specific problem. One will slap the desk to answer, and if they answer it correctly, they get to move onto the next student. They will then have to make it successfully around the room while correctly answering the questions before all of their fellow classmates. The winner of this activity will receive 5 points if they successfully make it around the classroom.
