Ask the children to share some issues that cause problems in their family or with
their friends. Discuss godly solutions to these problems.
Write out role play cards. Divide the children into groups of two or three, de-
pending on the role play situation. Give the children five minutes to discuss the
issue raised on the card, and then each group can act out the situation giving it a
godly solution.
SOME ROLE PLAY SUGGESTIONS:
Your younger sister has cut up your favourite book.
Your father has punished you for something you did not do.
Your mother promised that you could go to the movies but now she has
changed her mind.
Kids at school always make fun of you.
Your elder brother won’t let you choose any TV shows.
You always have to empty the rubbish but your sister never does.
The teacher always picks on you even when it’s not your fault.
A friend borrowed your skateboard and broke it.
Your parents told you never to smoke but your friends are forcing you to try.
Your parents always favour you and you know it’s hurting your older brother.
