Similar figures have the same shape but are not necessarily the same size. Congruent figures have the same shape and the same size. So…congruent figures are always similar, but similar figures are not necessarily congruent.

sides of similar polygons is the same for each pair of corresponding sides. The lengths of corresponding sides are proportional.
