Beginners’ Course on Islam Lesson 4

description

Lesson 4 of 10 for the Beginners' Course on Islam. Topic: Belief in the Prophets and Messengers. There are 124,000 prophets and messengers sent to mankind and out of which 25 were mentioned in the Quran. They were men, chosen by Allah to be a leading and the best example for us. They showed us that what is commanded can be done, if we want to do it. The commandments are not something that man could not do and achieve. There are numbers of lessons that one may learn by knowing them. They were tested and they overcome every tests which came their way to show us that we are stronger than we think and that Allah will not test you on something that you can cope. A bit detail of who is Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him). As Muslims, we believe that he is the best example and role model sent to us. He is not just a Messenger of Allah, but he is also a husband, a father, a friend, a leader and excelled in every position held. Learn of him and you would know how he managed (other than Allah's grace, of course) to change the hearts of those that were hostile towards him, those whom we would call today as barbarians to become the best community that has ever walked this earth.
