The ad predicated on what I call thegenetic fallacy: If your genes aregood, so is everything.

Not true

Good genes may take a long way, butthey no guarantee of a healthy life.

Neither good genes a guarantee ofbeing decent, kind or even successfulperson.

There are a lot of jerks around, and

their quantity and longevity suggeststhat even they have share of goodgenes.

What if the child does not want toattend Ivy League?

Or what if-the fertility gods forbids- the

child is not accepted? ( to Ivy)

Again, the genetic fallacy raises itsugly head for the child maydisappoint the inflatedexpectations of the parents.
