Indenting EntriesUsed to adjust the left and right edges of

Types of IndentsParagraph IndentLeft Indent – moves all lines of text to the

right. Used to set off a paragraph.Full Indent – moves text both left and right.

Used for long quotes.

Paragraph Spacing and IndentingCreate space between paragraphs without

TablesUnique and flexible way to organize related

information both horizontally and vertically.Components of a table:

Columns and rows make up a cell. Where they insect is the cell.

Insert table by create a text frame, click table on the menu bar and insert table. Enter number of rows and columns.

Selecting CellsRange – group of cells in a table that touch

each other.To select a range, drag mouse over the cells

you want to select.Use the ctrl key to select several ranges.

Adjusting AppearanceBorder Weight – thickness of line.Gutters – controls how close text in a a cell

column comes to the edge of the cell.Fill - adjust the tint to the strength or

intensity (use a low tint when typing text over a gray color)

Grouping Cells – lets you combine two or more cells into one larger cell.
