Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 25- Thursday, July 29 for high school teen service week in Ellington, MO at the WKO site in Reynolds County, one of the poorest areas of our state. House Tabs
Continue to save your tab-tops for RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE St. Louis!
These pure aluminum tabs raise over $25,000 for the 3 local houses here, so don't ever think small things can't make a BIG difference!
Collection 'aquariums' are throughout our school and there is a large yellow can outside of school doors you can drop off your tabs (and used Christmas lights as well!) 24/7! Save them at home and whenever you are about to throw a can in the recycling bin…pull off your tab! On Saturday, May 1 at the Park Avenue House, folks from all over the bi-state area will drop off their collection in drive-through format and the "weigh-in" will begin! Last year we came in first place for small schools! We have a little over a month to keep col-lecting for this year’s competition! Drop them off or call the parish office for a pick-up!
NOTE OF GRATITUDE
Dear BTC: We cannot thank you all enough.
The numerous meals you all provided, either planned or
unplanned, were key to helping us care for our guests,
and especially this year’s. Churches like you all who
keep stepping up and helping us care for folks give us
the hope and drive to keep going.
Thank you, Josh, Emily and Tony Ferguson Warming

Making a pledge to the ACA is easy, whether it is a one-time pledge or an installment pledge.
There are two ways to participate in this year’s campaign:
Online at acac.archstl.org or
Completing the pledge card that was received and returning it directly to the ACA Office or dropping it in the offertory basket at Mass or in the mail slot at the parish office. Thank you for your support!

Don’t forget that we have TAP cards on sale! You may send an order to school or email the par-ish office and we will fill your order the same day. No email? Give us a call! We have Pirrone’s and these can be used for the fundraiser. For the spring and summer we have Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bass Pro, Cabella’s, Finish Line, and Shoe Carnival. We also have Dominos Pizza, and Freddy’s. If you haven’t ordered in a while you may not know that we have Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts. Check out the parish website for an entire listing. Your purchase of TAP helps us support our school.
A community of religious women will be coming
to St. Louis in July of 2021 to establish their pres-
ence in the archdiocese.
They are looking to rent, for at least one year, a
7-8 bedroom residence. It would be helpful to
have a location that is on a public transportation
route to St. Louis University.
If you are aware of a possible residence that
they can call their convent.
please contact Sister Marysia Weber, R.S.M.
Bulletin – April 18
Feast of St. George
On Friday the 23rd, we celebrate the feast of St. George. No-where is St. George more celebrated than in England. During the height of this feast’s popularity, dishes like roast beef would have been common. However, because it is celebrated on a Friday this year, fish and chips would make a delicious substitute.
Bulletin – April 25
Feast of St. Mark
Today is the feast of St. Mark. Legend has it that on the feast of St. Mark, Pope St. Gregory the Great, became overwhelmed with a craving for cherries. A servant wandering through the garden was visited by St. Mark whoblessed one cherry tree to produce early. The cherries were taken to St. Gregory and the tradition of popes enjoying a bowl of cherries on the feast of St. Mark continues today. It isn’t uncommon for the faithful to celebrate with a dessert like cherry pie or cherry strudel.
Tuck pointing work will begin on the main entrance side of the church this week! There will be scaffolding in front of the main doors so it will be necessary to use the Parish Center entrance and use the stairs or the elevator to access the church.
