Leo’s Scarf Using CC, loosely cast on 41 stitches. Rows 1 - 5: Purl. Attach MC yarn, but also leave CC yarn attached. You will have the yarn you’re not knitting with yarn carried up throughout the project, only one is knit at a time. Row 6: Using MC, purl 3, knit 35, purl 3. Row 7: Purl across row. Row 8: Using CC, purl 3, knit 35, purl 3. Row 9: Purl across row. Rows 10 – 19: Repeat Rows 6 – 9 until you have 4 MC stripes and 3 CC color stripes. You will end with a MC stripe. Rows 20 – 23: Purl 3, K1, P1, K1, P1…..to within 3 stitches of end. Then purl 3. Repeat Rows 6 – 23 19 more times. Last 5 Rows: Using CC, purl. Bind off loosely. Iron flat using a damp towel between the scarf and the iron. This pattern is not for sale or commercial distribution.
