For over half a century Lenco has been synonymous with Swiss precision in the field of electronics. Lenco are constantly producing innovative ideas and believe great care and time should be taken in developing each

product to provide excellence and simplicity that all enhances the Lenco experience.

The brain child of Fritz and Marie Laeng was established in Burgdorf, Switzerland in 1925. Fritz Laeng was fascinated by sound technology and along with his wife decided to set-up an electronics company. Due to the driving, passionate spirit of Marie, and the demand for turntables they started production in a small factory. In 1946 they decided to name

their company Lenco based on the family name, and the brand was born.

During the sixties and seventies the company continued to grow and they set-up another factory where they put into production gramophones, cassette decks and small motors. With the demand and interest in Hi-Fi equipment increasing

they sustained more growth, employed 1,300 staff, and produced turntables for export to over 80 countries world-wide.

65 years on, Lenco is still building consumer electronics, now based in Venlo, Netherlands. The product categories have changed a bit, but the same passion for sound and quality is still in-built in the company. In 2009 Lenco products finally

made it to UK shores, with products selling in the below retailers, and many more.
