Cultivation & Processing

Lemon grass is perennial plantClimate : Tropical and sub-tropicalSoil type :  Rich loam to poor laterite. Harvesting and distillation :

First harvest after 90 days of planting. Subsequently 4-5 harvests per year giving around 80 kg/ha/year lemongrass oil with steam distillation
