To obtain warranty service, please contact customer service at 1.214.647.7880 or [email protected] and request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) for warranty service. You need to provide the model and serial number of the item being returned, a description of the problem or failure and the name of the registered user or organization. If available, you should have your sales invoice to establish the date of sale as the beginning of the warranty period.

Once you obtain the RGA, pack the product in its original packing material along with a copy of your invoice (if available) and write the RGA number legibly on or near the shipping address label. Return the unit, freight prepaid to:

This manual provides descriptions, repair procedures, and illustrated parts breakdowns for all configurations of the LEKO LITE Luminaire. The manual is intended for use by Philips Strand Lighting personnel and by Authorized Philips Strand Lighting Service Centers.

WARNING: It is important to read ALL accompanying safety and installation instructions to avoid damage to the product and potential injury to yourself or others.

Technical Bulletins and NoticesTechnical bulletins concerning the latest changes to LEKO LITE Luminaires are issued from the Dallas, Texas USA office. They are documentation supplements that contain procedures for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and repairs not found in the existing manuals. Operator technical bulletins are also issued to document changes in control software. Technical bulletins are integrated into the appropriate equipment manuals as those manuals are revised. Bulletins are categorized by assembly or subas-sembly, and identified by a number such as LKL-001 (LEKO LITE Luminaire Technical Bulletin number 1).

Technical notices are also issued from the Dallas, Texas USA office. They are non-procedural documents that contain information regarding product support issues, current equipment problems, software bugs, and documentation corrections. All technical notices begin with the prefix TN and are numbered sequentially, such as TN-138 (Tech Notice number 138).

All released technical notices or bulletins are listed in “Technical Bulletins and Notices” on page 33.

Standard Features

The LEKO LITE luminaire features LEKO LITE luminaires offer excellent light output, superb distribution and the smoothest soft edge while maintaining beam size for sharp gobo, edge and shutter focus.

The LEKO LITE luminaire contains the following standard features:

• Precision optical system with high-light output.

• Multi-faceted dichroic glass reflector for maximum output performance.

• Cool-beam operation for extended gobo, shutter, and gel life.

• X, Y, and Z axis beam peak/flat field adjustment for optimum performance.

• Fixed beam models available in 5o, 10o, 19o, 26o, 36o, and 50o beam angles.

• Variable beam models available in 15o to 32o and 23o to 50o.

• Easy lamp change, using Philips FastFit technology, with out the use of tools.

• Lamp options - 575W, 750W (115V) or 800W (240V) Philips Hi-Brite, FastFit lamps.

• Wide gate will fit 2 gobo holders, including glass gobo holder, drop-in iris or rotating gobo holder.

• Three plane, four independent beam shutters for triangular shutter cuts.

• Smooth 360o body rotation for quick and easy gobo and shutter positioning.

• 120V or 240V operation.

• ETL/cETL Listed and CE Marked.

Special Care and Handling

WARNING: All cleaning should be performed with power completely removed from the luminaire. Never remove protective covers when luminaire is powered. Wear appropriate protective eye wear and gloves when cleaning the fixture. All service and maintenance, other than described herein, should be performed by a qualified techni-cian or Authorized Service Center.

Cleaning and Care Instructions

The LEKO LITE Luminaire requires special care when it comes to cleaning lenses. Additional care needs to be taken with the protective coating on the luminaire’s reflec-tor.

The following is a list of cleaning materials required to care for your LEKO LITE Luminaire:

• Lint free lens tissue

• Lint or powder free gloves

• Reagent grade isopropyl alcohol*

• A mild soap solution.

Note: *Reagent grade isopropyl alcohol is good to use on the luminaire’s optics with anti-reflection coatings.

If the lens is still dirty after using isopropyl alcohol, for instance if fingerprints or oil is just redistributed and not cleaned off the optic, then a mild soap and water solution can be used to gently wash the lens. Repeat the cleaning with isopropyl alcohol to eliminate streaks and soap residue.

WARNING: Under no circumstances should ammonia-based cleaners, acetone, or other harsh solvents be used on or near the LEKO LITE Luminaire. These types of cleaners or solvents can permanently damage the optics or housings of the fixture.

Equipment Handling and Use

Below are some basic tips and information on handling and using LEKO LITE Lumi-naires and their associated components.

• LEKO LITE Luminaires are designed for dry locations only. Exposure to rain or moisture (including, but not limited to, fog machines, misters, etc.) may damage luminaires.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Do not mount near gas or electric heaters or near flammable materials.

• Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.

• Always follow, local and national safety codes and requirements when using or mounting equipment.

• Refer service to qualified personnel.

• Remove all power from luminaire before installing lamp or performing any service.

• Allow unit to cool before servicing. Only use specified / approved lamps at the correct voltage with luminaire.

• To avoid premature lamp failure it is essential that the luminaire is always mounted so the yoke is horizontal and with the lamp base down with the lamp adjustment knob is at the bottom of the rear lamp plate.

WARNING: LEKO LITE Luminaires must be grounded per local and/or national codes. Any installed connector must have the required cord grip and be rated at or above the voltage and wattage or volt-ampere values marked on the luminaire.
