Tidy UpWhen it starts out ship-shape, there’s only one way for it to go… this dance-theatre show gets all messed up!

As we wriggle our way through the muddle of life we often discover things anew. So why can’t tidiness be exciting for children or chaos joyful for parents? Who said there’s a ‘right way’ anyway?

Inspired by the child’s desire to create order, patterns and systems, this show is a witty and uplifting journey discovering if chaos and order can ever live side-by-side… with plenty of surprises, Tidy Up is an unforgettable party!

The production was developed in partnership with GOSH Arts, patients and families and the Psychological Services Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

A Square WorldA Square World is an honest, touching and quirky story of three friends and what happens when an unexpected change leaves one of them left out in the cold. Together they decide to redefine the rules of the square world in which they live and soon discover their lives won’t be square ever again! This non-verbal story uses simple design and object manipulation to create an imaginative world where anything can happen.

War Of The WorldsBy The Pantaloons

“No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man’s…”

…And fewer would have believed in the first years of the twenty-first century that H. G. Wells’ science fiction classic would be performed live by just four actors with intelligences lesser than average…

The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons invade the stage in this funny yet faithful new adaptation as they use musical instruments, puppetry and, um, enthusiasm to recreate deadly heat-rays, giant fighting-machines, squidgy tentacled Martians and interplanetary warfare on an epic scale. The chances of success? A million to one…

“Part alternative rock band, part thespian… wholly charming.” The Times

What do we mean by Event Cinema?“Though each broadcast is filmed in front of a live audience in the theatre, cameras are carefully positioned throughout the auditorium to ensure that cinema audiences get the ‘best seat in the house’ view of each production. Where these cameras are placed is different for each broadcast, to make sure the audiences enjoy the best possible experience every time.“

National Theatre Satellites allow the productions to be broadcast live to cinemas throughout the UK, as well as many European venues.

An Encore “as live” are the occasions when we were unable to show the event on the date of the live stream or when we have decided to show popular events again.
