President’s Message Presidents Message: I hope everyone was able to survive Snowmageddon!I thought we would see the snow ll May but our weather paerns this winter have been very unusual. Our board has been working on seng up some excing events for this winter and spring. Our first event of 2016 is right around the corner. On February 24, 2016, we will have a presentaon by one of our very own chapter members, Bob Becke. Bob will be providing us a presentaon on Busng Bust-Out Fraud! This is sure be a very interesng presentaon on how to combat this fraud. Please see the registraon infor- maon in the newsleer with addional details. We also are looking to host a networking event to allow for some informal discussions and meet and greets. I always enjoy geng to know our chapter members and hearing from you what we can do to connue to improve our training and events opportunies. Other events that are on the schedule are the Student Night event in March, our annual all day event in April on discussions regarding breach invesgaons. Our end of year event at Co- ca Cola Park is scheduled for May 5, 2016. Specific informaon on these events will be communicated as available in our newsleer and email communicaons. I hope you can make these upcoming events. I welcome any and all input our members have on improving the chapter. Please dont hesitate to reach out to me directly to discuss your ideas. President’s Message

President’s Message: I hope everyone was able to survive “Snowmageddon!” I thought we would see the snow till May but our weather patterns this winter have been very unusual.

Our board has been working on setting up some exciting events for this winter and spring. Our first event of 2016 is right around the corner. On February 24, 2016, we will have a presentation by one of our very own chapter members, Bob Beckett. Bob will be providing us a presentation on Busting Bust-Out Fraud! This is sure be a very interesting presentation on how to combat this fraud. Please see the registration infor-mation in the newsletter with additional details. Bob Beckett—Speaker Biography

Senior Director, Global Content / High Risk & Fraud Insight

Bob has some thirty years of experience in a wide array of business content,

analysis and insight. He has held leadership positions including: VP Sales – small

business customer channel; data operations; quality assurance and business de-

velopment government. Bob has spoken at a number of conferences and au-

thored a number of white papers about mitigating fraud and business malfea-

sance. Bob currently leads Dun & Bradstreet’s High-Risk & Fraud Insight Unit.

This unit consists of analysts/investigators including Certified Fraud Examiners

(CFE) who identify, investigate and alert customers to high-risk entities. Addi-

tionally, this team focuses on preventing and detecting misrepresentation from

entering the D&B database.
