President’s Message
President’s Message: I hope everyone was able to survive “Snowmageddon!” I thought we would see the snow till May but our weather patterns this winter have been very unusual.
Our board has been working on setting up some exciting events for this winter and spring. Our first event of 2016 is right around the corner. On February 24, 2016, we will have a presentation by one of our very own chapter members, Bob Beckett. Bob will be providing us a presentation on Busting Bust-Out Fraud! This is sure be a very interesting presentation on how to combat this fraud. Please see the registration infor-mation in the newsletter with additional details. We also are looking to host a networking event to allow for some informal discussions and meet and greets. I always enjoy getting to know our chapter members and hearing from you what we can do to continue to improve our training and events opportunities. Other events that are on the schedule are the Student Night event in March, our annual all day event in April on discussions regarding breach investigations. Our end of year event at Co-ca Cola Park is scheduled for May 5, 2016. Specific information on these events will be communicated as available in our newsletter and email communications. I hope you can make these upcoming events. I welcome any and all input our members have on improving the chapter. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly to discuss your ideas. I can be reached by email at [email protected]. Thank you for your support of the Lehigh Valley Chapter ACFE! Best Regards, Kristin Sommer, CFE Chapter President 2015-2016
