Introduction to Lego Robotics

First, a little bit of background…

The original robot, or RCX, was much different than the newest version, the NXT

In conjunction with the several programs, the NXT can use several different sensors

Rotation Sensors (motors)

All you need is to know where to start

This is the program that you will receive your projects on

You would begin by clicking here

After selecting from a list of beginner projects, you

would be directed to one of these screens

After being briefed, or informed, about your new challenge, you will be told

to program your robot

And that would take place here

Type in the name of your program here, and click ‘Go’

This is the screen where you would write and download to the program to the NXT

From here, you can make the robot do a

series of different things such as move

forward, wait for something, or stop
