Cliff Johnson Tata Technologies: His help with changing the color of a PartBody with a Multiple Value User Parameter was key in making this exercise.

EXERSICE PURPOSE:

1. Resolve the tabulated parts: Not all the parts required to make the Four Wheeler & Rebel Wrecker are present in the CATParts folder. There are 72 parts missing from this folder but, I have provided 12 tabulated parts in the Tabulated Parts & Design Tables folder that you can make the missing 72 parts. Step by step instructions are provided in this documentation.

2. Create the Four Wheeler and Rebel Wrecker CATProducts: You will find all the information necessary to assembly both these products in the Documentation folder. The Four Wheeler contains 102 different parts and the total parts are 338. The Rebel Wrecker contains 123 different parts and the total parts are 468. At the completion of putting both these two CATProducts together I'm sure you will have a very good understanding of the assembly process in CATIA. Additional information can be found in the CATIA V5 documentation. Be sure to use it if you have any general assembly type questions.

3. Apply Kinematics to your Four Wheeler and Rebel Wrecker CATProducts:

After you have created these two CATProducts there are a wealth of Kinematics joints you can perform on them. I just want to name a few Revolute Joint, Cylindrical Joint, Spherical Joint, Rigid Joint, Universal Joint, Gear Joint, Cable Joint, and Rack Joint. Additional information can be found in the CATIA V5 documentation. Be sure to use it if you have any general Kinematics type questions. Good Luck
