    HB 3409 Exempts from compulsory school attendancerequirements children who are present in UnitedStates on nonimmigrant visa and who areattending private, accredited English languagelearner program in preparation for attendingprivate high school or college.

    HB 3029 Allows parent or legal guardian of child whosesixth birthday occurred on or before September 1immediately preceding beginning of current schoolyear to delay enrolling child in public full-timeschool for one year for purpose of better meetingchild’s needs for cognitive, social or physicaldevelopment.

    HB 3267 Directs school districts and public charter schoolsto waive high school diploma requirements thatare not established by state law if student is orwas foster child, homeless or runaway.

    HB 3437 Establishes legislative findings and intentregarding State Workforce and TalentDevelopment Board.
