The market-tested and extremely reliable Module DLE portfolio is being further expanded. The compact system solutions for your downlights are being updated in terms of eff iciency and application.

In its fourth generation the compact system solution for downlights has had its eff iciency improved by up to 12 percent and at 185 lm/W is one of the most eff icient downlight modules. In addition to the proven benefits such as excellent colour rendering of CRI > 80 and the small housing, the new generation off ers greater flexibility with additional selection options. The modules are available as LED board or housing versions with integrated diff user technology and can be operated with a dimmable or non-dimmable driver.

DLE Integrated – compact complete package

With the innovative driver-on-board technology, simple modules become compact and highly efficient one-component solutions for downlights – without the need for any additional drivers.

In this way, the third generation of DLE AC ADV and PRE modules is not only making a significant contribution to the ongoing miniaturisa-tion of downlights, but also offers an effective alternative to solutions with separate drivers and modules. This ensures that the module and driver technology is perfectly in tune. As no driver boxes are required, the manufacturing work is also reduced significantly. What both categories have in common is their very low flicker rate, which remains constant across all dimming levels in the dimmable PRE model, and extremely homogeneous light distribution.

Tunable White systems of Tridonic gives you the option of set-ting the colour temperature of white light to any value between 2,700 K to 6,500 K. This function is essential for contemporary biologically eff ective lighting solutions which aim to simulate natural light indoors. The light in daylight quality promotes a feeling of well-being and productivity for people who have to spend many hours a day in artificial light.

Tunable White not only reproduces colours authentically, but its ef-fects can be further amplified using the right colour temperature. For example, it can make food look more appetising and clothes look to be of a higher quality in shops. This flexible adjustment makes it easy to test how products look in diff erent lighting moods. As a result, it is easier to see, for example, how articles of clothing appear in various environments – from a brightly lit gym to the park at sunset.

The Engine Tunable White Kit is precalibrated at the factory and off ered in sets comprising a converter and a LED module. Constant luminous flux over the entire adjustable colour temperature range is particularly important for professional room planning. Engine Tun-able White opens up a really interesting area of application, not least thanks to its reproducible and consistent colour rendering.
