• The term communication has been derived from the Latin word “communis” thus .to communicate means to make common or to make known.

• Act of making common or known carried out through exchange of thoughts ,ideas, or the like.

• Communication takes place when the message is received by the other person .

thoughts, ideas, feelings, information, opinions, and knowledge”. It also involves mutuality of understanding

Definitions of Communication:• Communication is meaningful interaction. • Communication is information sharing. • Communication is understanding.

• It is a 2-way process. • Communication process happens between or among

two or more parties. (Sender and Receiver) • Communication involves exchange of ideas, feelings,
