First Announcement/Call for Abstract Workshop Scope The MEM18 workshop focuses on the mechanical and electromechanical properties and the characterization of practical composite superconductors for electrical device applications, especially magnets and coils. This is the 9 th MEM workshop – it is organized by Prof. Hyung-Seop Shin of Andong National University and supported by the KIASC. The former workshops were held at Kyoto, Durham, Princeton, Okinawa, Aix-en Provence and Tallahassee. This workshop will enable the world’s research community to present recent progress and development on the mechanical and electromechanical properties of LTS and HTS composite superconductors.
