User GuideDisclaimer:

• This guide is intended for LU Faculty of sciences students aiming at accessing online course

materials, a first step towards deploying a consolidated Learning Management System (LMS).

• http://sc.ul.edu.lb is the official website managed by the IT team in the faculty of sciences. No other

websites should be referred by students. Course Files are password protected.

• A temporary phase starts with anonymous student access, after which authenticating with student

email credentials (@st.ul.edu.lb) will become mandatory.

Step2: Enter your email @st.ul.edu.lb, Click Next, then password and click Next.

Check your alternate email or contact your

local Email Admin to obtain your email

credentials.



Step3: Click on the folder matching your Specialty(major).

Step4: Click on the folder matching Course to view a list of files to download.

Step5: Click on the SUB folder matching the course you want to download

Step6: Click on the left of the .rar file to select it

Step8: Click on the arrow near the downloaded file and choose show in folder

Step8: Or you can directly go to the Downloads folder

To download and install WINRAR, click HERE

Step9: Right click on the .rar file in the downloads and choose extract to [file’s name]

Step10: Enter the password given by your instructor or IT admin for each course

Step11: A new unzipped folder will appear with same name as the .rar file

Step12: Now you have the pdf file related to your course.
