• The Super Lamb Banana has fast become one of the most instantly recognisable and popular symbols of the City of Liverpool.

• It has become an image that represents Liverpool, and has united many people from different communities across the city and welcomes visitors and amuses residents & tourists alike.

Well, here’s the thing…

• We think that it is important to have our own iconic sculpture that can represent our views as students within Maghull & District Community of Schools.

So….• Get your thinking caps on, chat to your friends,

soak up your surroundings & capture your creative side because we want you to design a sculpture that can represent us. The one thing that unites all of us is the idea of LEARNING.

• The challenge is set – you have until 9th January 2009 to submit your design and don’t forget to give your sculpture a cool name too!

• The winning sculpture will be announced on the 16th January 2009.

• The winning sculpture will then be recreated (like the Super Lamb Banana has been) for all 16 schools within the MADCOS community to be individually decorated and proudly displayed for all to see.
