What is a Learning Based Partnership (LBP)?A learning based partnership is a win-win partnership between AIESEC and a company,an individual or a contract organistion which is mutually beneficial. It is a platform forboth partners to exchange information, knowledge and experience. Ideally it is a longterm partnership.A learning-based partnership is a non-punctual win-win relationship establishedbetween AIESEC and/or an individual officialised by a contract where the focus Is puton an exchange of knowledge, information and/or experience benefiting both parts.

    How does a LBP operate?

A LBP operates by giving AIESEC and the partner the opportunity to be involved ineach others activities. Therefore, the partner to AIESEC is not a supporter but anenabler. An enabler facilitates development through direct contact with the LC.

What do we need to do to make sure such a partnership is successful?Communication between the VPTM and VPER is essential!

The VPTM can provide an accurate picture of the current learning situation in the LCand what kind of knowledge, skills and behaviours will be useful for the members. Assuch, the VPTM can communicate this situation to the VPER to ensure a mutuallybeneficial partnership is established.

The partnership should be reviewed at least bi-annually to ensure that each partysneeds are being met and the partnership is still beneficial to both parties.
