Abstract Acrylic Painting
Ann loves painting and encouraging others to paint . Paint-ing is usually colourful and often playful. In abstract paint-ing there are no set rules and the possibilities for creating original, personally pleasing artworks are endless.
Acrylic paints are very versatile – they can become thick and creamy like oils, transparent like watercolour or layered like old house paint.
In these workshops Ann introduces participants to a wide
range of ideas, techniques and experiences that build skills
and allow individual creativity and styles to grow and devel-
op. Participants can also bring their own inspiration. Conse-
quently these morning, or day, workshops are suitable for
beginning and experienced painters alike.
Weekly Friday classes 10am—1.15pm
The cost includes paints, mediums, tools, visual diary and equipment including one stretched canvas 30cm X 30cm, tuition and morning tea. Note :- participants will need to provide additional small canvases during the term.

Art- Full Living ~ Visual Diaries
Visual Diaries and Heart Art go ‘hand in hand’. Using a V.D is great for honing your ‘eye for beauty’; be-coming aware of (and building a resource of) art ideas and images you love, and creating your own meaningful and original art. The art evolves from those images, your playfulness and everyday living.
In 2016 the four workshops have themes designed to add impetus, ideas, techniques and playfulness to your Diary and ultimately to help you live an art-full life.
Times :- Sundays 1.30pm- 4.30pm
Cost $244- for all four Sundays ( or $69- for indi-vidual Sundays)
Includes one A4 Visual Diary, tuition, all art materials and afternoon teas.
28th Feb. - Seeds
15th May - Shapes & Spaces

Intuitive Collage
Heart Art workshops are held in a lovely, light filled studio in Park Orchards (about 8 minutes from the Eastern Freeway / East Link Mel. Map 35 D12).
Set in an acre of garden and trees, with abundant bird life, the studio has a retreat-like atmosphere. A won-derful place for encouraging creativity.
A long time favourite art activity for young and old is cutting and pasting magazine pictures to create new images.
Collage often feels therapeutic as one forgets time and worries in the hunt for that face or particular colour or fragment of pattern that will fit ‘just right’ in the new artwork.
In this workshop we take collage and the therapy a step further as we consciously work with our intui-tion to choose and combine images that our heart connects with in a special, meaningful way.
Intuitive collage is a wonderful tech-nique for acknowledging and appreci-ating our intuition, developing our imagination and getting to know our-selves better……..all valuable ingredi-ents for art making and indeed life.
A full day is needed to explore this insightful tech-nique as participants make one or two small col-lages on cardboard and share what they have creat-ed.
Time Sunday 28th August 9.30– 4 pm Cost $125 includes notes, tuition, art materials,
morning tea and a light lunch .
