July 24, 2014GAPP/HEN Coaching – Worker’s Safety WebinarFEEDBACK

Suggestions on how the Georgia Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation (GHAREF) can improve this meeting: • Continue real time best practices• OSHA speakers would be helpful• Polling is much easier with voting rather than asking everyone to speak out.

As a result of this program are you going to make any changes to your practice or hospital?: • Add the Worker Injury Report to GB. (3 Hospitals)• Continue to integrate Worker and Patient Safety/ more emphasis on Safe Patient Handling• Review with our committee and trend the worker injuries. Have a meeting on Thursday 7-31-14 to review with

team.• Give consideration to the addition of the worked time factors to investigation of worker injuries. (5 Hospitals)• Accident review committee (3 Hospitals)• We have been planning a safety week to promote worker safety and injury prevention and this will be helpful to

guide us.

How can GHA assist you in making these changes or addressing obstacles?• Share sample policy and procedures• Update on upcoming OSHA Standards.• Continue educational opportunities• Clarify the data requirements
