Creativity
The phenomenon whereby something new and valuable is created.
Design
Purpose, planning, or intention that exists behind an action, fact, or material object (virtual or physical).
What is a Lean Startup?Similar to the precepts of lean management, A lean startup philosophy seeks to eliminate wasteful practices and increase value producing practices during the product development phase so that startups can have a better chance of success without requiring large amounts of outside funding, elaborate business plans, or the perfect product.
What is Design Thinking?Design thinking is defined as combining empathy for the context of a problem, creativity in the generation of insights and solutions, and rationality in analyzing and fitting various solutions to the problem context.
According to Tim Brown, CEO and president of IDEO, the goal of Design Thinking is "matching people’s needs with what is technologically feasible and viable as a business strategy"
The premise of teaching Design Thinking is that by knowing about how designers approach problems and the methods which they use to ideate, select and execute solutions, individuals and businesses will be better able to improve their own problem solving processes and take innovation to a higher level.

One way to frame your project around people, is to (re)state the challenge using this format:
“Redesign the [ topic ] experience for [ user ].”
[topic] The first spot is the project area/topic/goal (but make sure the solution isn’t already dictated). [user] The second spot is a user group; don’t be afraid to be specific in identifying the user.
