About Allen Global CompaniesAllen designs, engineers and manufactures all products onsite by our team of skilled engineers and dedicated craftsmen. Since 1948, we have focused on improving the quality of our products. Over the years we have developed a production process that allows us to maintain our high quality standard while advancing the technology in every system we build.

Every project begins with our engineering team. Their focus is to provide the solution to our client in the most cost-efficient manner without compromising quality or reliability. They ensure that the technologies offered are designed to meet or exceed our client’s requirements. Once we have completed our calculations and confirmed the best solution, the project moves to our drafting department. They produce 3D renderings and CAD drawings for our clients to view and ensure that the system is designed to exactly match the infrastructure in which it will be housed. Once our client has approved the drawings, we begin the construction phase.

Our team of engineers, welders, pipefitters, painters, and electricians begin the process of manufacturing the system per the client’s exact specifications. We use ASME code standards and NEC electrical standards to produce all our systems. Every system is put through a rigorous testing procedure that ensures we have met all code requirements. Only after the system has passed its testing phase will our industrial grade paint be applied to the system and our logo affixed. Our employees take pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and dependability of every system we produce.

When it comes to fluid filtration and purification, Allen is the expert at customizing the most optimal solution for a specific application. Our clients bring to us a variety of challenges ranging from the typical water and dirt contaminants in lube or insulating oil where we are able to provide a standard product to challenges which require a com-pletely custom-engineered and manufactured solution (e.g. increasing the shelf life of coconut oil). The Allen Re-refinery Process assists in separating and manufacturing lube stocks and fuel base. It takes used, extremely dirty, raw, feedstock and creates numerous usable products: water, gasoline diesel, base oil, etc.

We know space is often an issue, which is why this compact recycling plant takes up only a fraction of the space of a modular or standard refinery. Because it is modular, it is easy to expand or change the business model in the future.

No part of the feedstock goes to waste. Each stage of the process renders a product that can be used and taken to market or recombined to produce other products. The Allen Re-refinery process is a cost effective way for companies to take a previously unusable substance and make it into usable and profitable products.

These recycling plants are designed for minimally attended, no exhaust to atmosphere, and the only by-product is irrigation or sanitary sewer discharge water.

The Allen Oil Conditioner (AOC) is used to dehydrate, degasify, and purify insulating, lubricating, hydraulic, mineral, and synthetic oils that are used all over the world. The AOC uses vacuum, heat, and particulate filtration to purify these oils by removing solid particulates down to ISO 14/13/10 and removing 100% of dissolved and entrained gases and water down to 5 wppm. The AOC restores the flashpoint and the viscosity of the oil to as-new or better conditions. The on-board programmable logic controlled alarms and user interface make it simple to operate and easy to maintain. The AOC reduces downtime, improves longevity of the oil and the equipment it purifies, and lowers the total cost of ownership over the life of both the oil and equipment. The AOC holds the highest removal of water on the market making the AOC the gold standard when it comes to providing purification solutions for your major investments. Allen Oil ConditionerAOC Series

The Allen Hydroscav Oil Purifier system (AHS) uses filtration and thermal dehydration to remove solids and moisture from almost all types of oils including lubrication, hydraulic, synthetic, compressor, diesel fuel, vegetable, and gear oils. The AHS can remove 100% of free and emulsified water down to 50 wppm. The AHS is equipped to remove solid particles down to 5 μm, as well as remove 100% of dissolved hydrocarbon gases and air trapped in the oil. The AHS is designed with programmable logic controls for continuous and unattended operation. The AHS comes pre-wired, pre-piped, and has a compact frame which allows for easy installation and accessibility of components for servicing. The AHS is the most efficient and productive oil purifier on the market today. As the industry leader in oil purification, the AHS is the most cost-effective solution for great purification, extending the life of the oil and the capital equipment that oil protects. Allen Bulk Filtration VesselABF Series

Allen Filtration

The Allen Bulk Filtration Vessel (ABF) is designed for efficiency and ease of operation; simplex especially suited for extremely large quantities of processed oils requiring clay filtration. Configurations come in pairs of two, ranging up to ten. A variety of filtration media can be used, depending upon desired outcome (i.e. acid reduction, deodorize, de-sulfur, and/or de-color). This system may also be sold as a simplex stand alone unit. An optional methanol recovery system is available to periodically solvent wash the clay to increase its usable life cycle. This system is automated and selfcontained.

The Allen Pre-Filtration Skid™ is designed to remove large particulates with re-usable strainer filters, fine particulates down to 5 micron with stacked disk filters, and free water using coalescer-separators. This unit is skid mounted and compact. It is designed for duplex operation so if one filter vessel becomes full or constricted the system will automatically switch to its matching vessel so diagnostics, maintenance or filter replacement can be carried out without interruption to the plant operation.

Allen Duplex Filtration Skid can be used in simplex or duplex mode and will vary by the fil-ter elements placed in them. Some will be used to remove additional color from the base oil, others will be used to remove additional sulfur from the base oil, and yet others will be used as polishing filters to remove any remaining particulates down to 5 micron following the clay filtration stage. The cover is held in place by swing bolts and nuts, designed so that complete removal of the nuts is unnecessary for removal of the cover. Skids may be multiplied in a daisy chain arrangement or a single unit can be used as a simplex stand alone filter.

The Allen Tap Changer Filter system (ATF) provides optimal conditions for oil-filled transformer tap changers used in a variety of circumstances all over the world. The ATF increases reliability and service life of the tap changer as well as reduces the overall cost of the maintenance program. FlowMasterTM Stacked Disc Solids Filter Element FM The FlowMasterTM Stacked Disc Solids Filter Element (FM) is designed with the 25 square feet surface area for filtration. The FM is hand-sewn and made with solid construction for long-lasting filtration with moderate solids loading. FlowMasterTM elements range from 1 μm to absolute 40 μm each.

Allen Activated Carbon Filter Element The Activated Carbon Filter Element (AC) adsorption process uses forces of molecular attraction to bind soluble and gaseouschemicals to the surface of the carbon.The process retains and accumulates toxic chemicals present in wastes, yet does not chemically alter them. The Cellulose Filter Element (CF) is designed to remove varnish and adsorb the moisture in transformer oil, hydraulic oil, lubrication oil, transmission fluid, vegetable oil, wine filtration, water & waste water filtration, and diesel fuel.

Allen‘s Fuller‘s Earth Filter Element The Allen Fuller’s Earth Filter Element (FE) uses the inherent properties found in the palygorskite family of clays (Fuller’s Earth) to adsorb acids and remove color from oils. Fuller’s Earth Filter Elements are the perfect solution for purification of transformer oil, hydraulic oil, lubrication oil, transmission oil, and vegetable oil.

Allen Activated Alumina Filter ElementAA Series The Activated Alumina Filter Element (AA) is used for solvent, fluoride, selenium, and arsenic adsorption as well as acid control in water and waste water filtration. Activated Alumina has a very high surface-area-to-weight ratio. It has a lot of very small pores, almost like tunnels, that run throughout it making it a perfect way to filter and purify water.

Allen Polypropylene Filter Element The Polypropylene Solids Filter Element (PP) is a stacked disk filter element designed for high temperature filtration and purification needs. The PP filter element is used for transformer, electro-hydraulic, lubrication, and vegetable oils, transmission fluid, and waste/water filtration.

Allen Stainless Strainer Filter Element The Stainless Strainer Filter Element (SS) is designed to be reused continuously by backwashing the filter element. It is constructed completely of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and designed for high-flow capacity. Maintenance backwashable and reusable.

Allen Microfiber Filter Element The Microfiber Filter Element (MW) is designed to adsorb oil from water. The MW filter element is produced from 100% melt blown microfiber that can absorb up to 15 times its weight in oil while allowing the purified water to pass right through. The MW filter element is best suited for separating petroleum-based fluids from water, moist air, and other gases. Water removal 15 times its weight of filter element.

Coalescer Filter Element CE Series

The Coalescer Filter Element (CE) provides a cost effective particle and emulsified water removal element for hydrocarbon fluids. The CE filter elements are employed as the first stage in coalescer/ separator vessels. The CE performs two functions, first they coalesce or combine highly dispersed, emulsified water particles into larger water drops and secondly they filter-out particulate contami-nants. The CE filters at 1 μm and 0.5 μm ratings.

Water and Solids Element The Allen Water and Solids Filter Element (WS) is designed to provide the services of two elements in one. Our water absorbing elements absorb water chemically and locks water in while at the same time filtering out the particles. When an elements starts reaching its holding load it begins to swell and cause an increase in the differential pressure. Mean Efficiency 5 μm.

Separator Filter Element SE Series

The Separator Filter Element (SE) is employed as the second stage in the coalescer/ separator vessels. Their sole function is to repel coalesced water drops produced by the first-stage element while allowing hydrocarbon fluids to pass through. The SE is replaced at the same time as the CE filter element. Operating Temperature 200°F - (93.3°C).
