PARTICIPANT BIOGRAPHIES

NATHANIEL BULLARD – LEAD ANALYST, BLOOMBERG LP Nathaniel Bullard focuses on the solar energy sector. He authors reports on photovoltaic and solar thermal electricity markets and technology. He is frequently cited in major publications, including The Economist, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Technology Review, and Scientific American, regarding solar industry policies and market dynamics, and appears on Bloomberg Television. He was the program architect for Bloomberg New Energy Finance’s first Solar Leadership Forum, held in February 2011 in Napa, California. He is also a contributor to several of Bloomberg’s cross-platform initiatives to analyze mergers and acquisitions, and environmental, social, and governance data. Nathaniel joined then-New Energy Finance in early 2007, and was based in Washington DC before relocating to Bloomberg’s San Francisco office in 2010. He holds an MA in International Energy Policy and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and an AB, magna cum laude in the History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University.

TERRY REAGAN – SALES BUSINESS MANAGER, BT AMERICAS INC. Terry has global responsibility for multiple global accounts headquartered in Northwestern U.S. & Canada including Microsoft, Intel, Expedia, Lululemon Athletica and Nike. The role covers a broad scope of management issues across the wide range of BT products as well as for the design, build and delivery of complex outsourcing and managed services engagements. Terry’s interactions are equally divided between internal and external stakeholders. Sharing the company’s best practices and experience with customers and helping them understand how BT’s products and services can help their business objectives inclusive of CSR (Corporate and Social Responsibility). In his prior role, Terry was working in the BT Innovate & Design / Ribbit organization as part of the BT management team assigned to further develop the Ribbit Innovation and Go to Market capabilities. His specific role as the Ribbit Mobile team leader and Product Manager involved defining, documenting, and promulgating marketing requirements for the offering. As the Ribbit Mobile Team leader he retained responsibility over re-invigorating, developing and managing a cross functional team of sales, business development, marketing, operations, regulatory and finance staff targeted for initial product launch and follow-on commercial operations.

DR. MARK WATSON – HEAD OF ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS, CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS, HONG KONG Mark Watson is Cathay Pacific’s Head of Environmental Affairs where he leads on all strategic and policy-related initiatives aimed at reducing the airline’s emissions, both on the ground and in the air. This includes advising the airline on the environmental aspects of long term technology acquisition and deployment, biofuel development, operational enhancements, infrastructural improvements, CSR related issues and the use of economic measures such as emissions trading. Mark also authored and leads the delivery of Cathay Pacific’s new long term Sustainable Development Strategy. As a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Environment Committee, in 2009, he played a key role in working with industry to call for aviation to be part of an ambitious climate change agreement as a member of the industry delegation at the UNFCCC COP 15 negotiations in Copenhagen, and presented a conceptual framework for global emissions management at the Plenary session of the UN ICAO Environment Colloquium in 2010. Mark was previously Head of Environmental Affairs at UK aerospace trade association the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) , where he led the organization’s environment and sustainability activities including the UK Sustainable Aviation initiative, working with major airlines, aerospace manufacturers, airports and air navigation services providers.

MATT ELLIS – DIRECTOR, VICE PRESIDENT, CB RICHARD ELLIS Matt is a vice president at CB Ricard Ellis (CBRE), a commercial real estate services firm, and the director of its carbon services business, which advises real estate owners and occupiers on carbon emissions management strategies and offsetting solutions. Prior to this, Matt was an associate broker with CBRE working on corporate real estate and led its Sustainability Practice Group - a niche practice group of brokers focused on clean technology and green building real estate requirements. Outside CBRE, Matt co-chaired the San Diego Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council's Emerging Green Builders Committee, which engaged students and young professionals on green building topics and career development from 2009-2010. Matt has undergraduate degrees in economics and the study of religion from UC San Diego and an M.S.B.A with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from San Diego State University. While at UCSD, Matt played water polo and competed in the NCAA Division I water polo national championship match in 2000 and was team captain in 2003. Matt is from Tustin, CA and has lived in San Diego since 1999.

SALLY WILSON – SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT IN BROKERAGE, CB RICHARD ELLIS In addition to her brokerage role, Sally serves as CBRE’s Global Director of Environmental Strategy where she manages corporate environmental initiatives and acts as the liaison with the company’s environmental partners. Sally was the first licensed broker designated as LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). She served three years on the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) LEED Core and Shell steering committee. Sally is currently a member of the Green Building Certification Institute’s (GBCI) Board of Directors. The GBCI is the credentialing body for LEED. Sally’s long experience with LEED has allowed her to have a detailed understanding of the rating system as well as a balanced perspective from the tenant’s and landlord's view. She has used this experience in developing over a dozen sustainable transactions including the new headquarters for the USGBC in Washington DC and Generation IM in NYC. Ms. Wilson's recent “green” speaking engagements include GreenBuild 2009, Aspen Institute 2009 Environmental Forum, and the McGraw Hill Building Retrofit 2009 Conference. She has contributed to numerous publications such as the New York Times and Wall Street Journal; and has advised on reference guides such as the USGBC’s “Green Office Guide Integrating LEED into Your Leasing Process.”

DOROTHY CHAN – GROUP PUBLIC AFFAIRS MANAGER, ENVIRONMENT, CLP HOLDINGS LTD. Dorothy is responsible for CLP Holding's communications and stakeholder engagement programs on environment and sustainability-related issues. Prior to CLP, she was Director of Commitments at the Clinton Global Initiative Asia (CGI Asia), where she worked with leaders from the private, public, and civil-society organizations to develop programs to address global challenges. Prior to CGI Asia, Dorothy oversaw custom research projects at The Economist Group in Asia, where she executed benchmarking, market sizing and investment-location assessment studies for various multinational and government clients. During her tenure with the Asia Business Council, Dorothy briefed CEOs and chairman-level executives on business and social issues affecting Asia s competitiveness. Dorothy holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she was a Carl J. Gilbert Scholar. She received her Bachelor of Arts in international relations and sociology from Tufts University and a diploma in international mediation and conflict resolution from Erasmus University.

PETER W. GREENWOOD – MA, FCS, FCIS, GROUP EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – STRATEGY, CLP HOLDINGS LTD. Mr. Greenwood is the Group Executive Director – Strategy at CLP Holdings responsible for supporting the CEO on matters relating to the overall strategy and direction of the CLP Group’s activities. Mr. Greenwood holds an MA degree in law from the University of Cambridge and a diploma in German law from the University of Tuebingen. In 2006, he completed the full-time study for an MA degree in War Studies from King’s College, London University (with distinction). He is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries in England and the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries. Mr. Greenwood is a solicitor in England and Wales and in Hong Kong, as well as being qualified as a lawyer in France. Before joining the CLP Group in 1995, he was a solicitor with leading corporate law firms in London, Hamburg, Hong Kong and Paris. Between 1996 and 2005, Mr. Greenwood was the Company Secretary and Corporate Counsel of CLP Holdings.

RICHARD CROWTHER – ENERGY EFFICIENCY MANAGER, THE COCA-COLA COMPANY He has strategic responsibility for improving the energy efficiency of the nearly 1,000 Coca-Cola System production facilities spread over more than 200 countries. His current projects support the Company climate protection objective to 'Grow the business without growing the carbon.’ Richard has nearly two decades of diverse experience in the energy efficiency field and is familiar with all aspects of the industry from supply planning and demand reduction to full outsourcing of utility services. His previous employment experience includes work with both natural gas and electric power utilities along with their unregulated subsidiaries, as well as central utility plant project development with a global Energy Services Company. Richard is originally from Mobile, Alabama and has lived in the Atlanta, Georgia area with his wife and 2 children for the last 20 years. He has a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering Degree from Auburn University along with a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University and is a Registered Profession Engineer, Certified Energy Manager and Certified Cogeneration Professional.

SCOTT A. VITTERS – GENERAL MANAGER, PLANTBOTTLE PACKAGING PLATFORM, THE COCA-COLA COMPANY Scott Vitters has worked to drive sustainable growth at The Coca-Cola Company for the past thirteen years. He currently is the General Manager of the company’s breakthrough PlantBottle packaging platform. In this role he is accountable for leading a business transformation team focused on delivering value by completely decoupling the company’s plastic bottles from fossil-based materials and the generation of waste. Scott previously led Coca-Cola’s worldwide packaging sustainability program. Some notable advances during his leadership include the establishment of the company’s global performance measures, investments in plastic bottle-to-bottle recycling facilities, creation of a for-profit recycling collection enterprise and launch of a multi-million dollar recycling advertising campaign. In 2002, Scott managed the development and execution of Coca-Cola’s environmental efforts at the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. His success in implementing a cutting edge zero-waste program received high acclaim and was formally recognized by the US EPA. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Scott served as a consultant to EPA’s Office of Solid Waste with the Eastern Research Group. OLIVER CAMPBELL – DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT, PACKAGING AND PACKAGING ENGINEERING, DELL, INC. Mr. Campbell leads the packaging effort across Dell’s entire product portfolio with teams in the United States, Europe and Asia. His global organization focuses on strategic sourcing and supplier development for technology commercialization; packaging and supply chain engineering; brand experience, and sustainability. He has over ten years of senior management experience in the lateral integration of product design, procurement, packaging, logistics, and strategic analytics for substantial cost savings and environmental wins. Prior to joining Dell, Mr. Campbell served in a variety of management and engineering positions with Eaton Semiconductor Operations, the Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission, Tracor Aerospace, and Ford Motor Company. Mr. Campbell holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University. Mr. Campbell also has an MBA from The University of Texas, Austin. JOHN PFLUEGER – PRINCIPAL ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGIST, PH.D., DELL, INC. In this role, John is responsible for driving Dell's strategy on issues around Environmental Sustainability – including Energy, GHG Emissions, Materials of Concern, Material Use/Recovery/Reuse, and Water. Prior to this role, John was Dell's subject matter expert on data center energy efficiency and managed initiatives to help customers improve the productivity of their computer systems and facilities. Since graduating from MIT in 1991 with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, John has spent nineteen years in manufacturing engineering, product development, product marketing and product management roles in the high-tech industry. John currently serves as a director for The Green Grid and as a participant in The Green Grid’s Technical Committee.

JOHN STOWELL – VICE PRESIDENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY, DUKE ENERGY Stowell was named to his current position in April 2006. His department is responsible for the development of the company’s federal policies and programs relating to issues such as climate change, renewables, environmental technologies, mercury, water and solid waste. Previously, Stowell was vice president of federal legislative affairs, environmental strategy and sustainability for Cinergy. He also chaired Cinergy’s Political Action Committee and was responsible for the company’s political grassroots program. In August 1986, he joined PSI Energy as a federal affairs representative and the company’s lobbyist in Washington, D.C. He was promoted to director of federal affairs in 1990. Following the merger of PSI Energy and the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company in 1994, he was named general manager and relocated to Cinergy’s corporate headquarters in Cincinnati for expanded responsibilities. From 1983 to 1986, Stowell served on the Washington staff of U.S. Representative Elwood H. “Bud” Hillis where he was both press secretary and legislative assistant. From 1975 to 1983, he was a political and government reporter for the Kokomo (Ind.) Tribune. He is chairman of the External Advisory Board of the University of Michigan Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute and The Green Partnership for Greater Cincinnati. The Buchanan, Michigan, native earned a journalism degree from Michigan State University. Stowell and his wife, Marlene, have a daughter and a son.

JEREMY HEWITT – MANAGER OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS, CLIMATE ACTION SECRETARIAT, GOVERNMENT OF BRITISH COLUMBIA Jeremy Hewitt is Manager of Climate Change and Intergovernmental Relations for the Government of British Columbia’s Climate Action Secretariat, the central government agency responsible for coordinating and driving the Province’s climate action agenda. Jeremy leads the Province’s intergovernmental climate change policy agenda and is active in all international, federal and inter-provincial initiatives and negotiations. He serves as British Columbia’s Head Delegate on the Canadian International Climate Change Delegation to the United Nations, and in this role represents the Province at Council of Parties (COP) negotiations. Jeremy also represents British Columbia on numerous climate change-related international organizations including the International Carbon Action Partnership, the Pacific Coast Collaborative and the Climate Registry.

DAN MCINNIS – ASSISTANT DEPUTY MINISTER, CLIMATE CHANGE & ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION DIVISION, GOVERNMENT OF MANITOBA Dan McInnis has over 25 years of experience in developing programs and delivering services related to environmental and municipal subjects. The duties of his most recent position with the Province of Manitoba include the responsibility for environmental regulation, licensing and compliance and the successful implementation of Manitoba’s climate change initiatives. He is an executive member of the Board of Directors for the Climate Registry and has served on Canada’s climate change team at COP15 and COP16. Previously Dan was employed with the City of Winnipeg in the role of Manager of Solid Waste Services, delivering municipal solid waste collection, diversion and disposal services to 700,000 people. Living and working in Manitoba for his whole life, Dan has had the opportunity to develop relationships with many industry, government and non-government organizations. Dan is a member of the Manitoba Chapter of the Green Building Council and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba. When not at work, Dan enjoys a rousing game of racquetball, watching CFL football and spending time with the family.

MICHELE FOURNIER – SENIOR ADVISOR, OFFICE OF CLIMATE CHANGE, MINISTRY OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, ENVIRONMENT AND PARKS, GOVERNMENT OF QUÉBEC Ms. Fournier holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and law as well as a master’s degree in land-use planning and regional development. Ms. Fournier has been active on environmental issues since the late 80s when she directed the Ontario Public Interest Research Group Chapter at the University of Ottawa. She has been involved with climate change issues with the Government of Québec since 1998 and as been an active player in the development of Québec’s climate change policies since then. As a senior advisor for the Climate Change Bureau with the Ministry for Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks, she coordinated the designing of its 2006-2012 Climate Change Action Plan. Ms. Fournier now leads the work on Québec’s positions on climate change at the international level and works closely with The Climate Group on getting the recognition of sub national states within the UN negotiations. She is equally involved in the development of Québec’s new Climate Action Plan and works at promoting the deployment of green technologies by linking Québec’s stakeholders on these issues with The Climate Group’s low carbon initiatives.

VINCENT ROYER – CLIMATE CHANGE COORDINATOR, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF QUÉBEC Member of the Québec’s Bar since 2000, Mr. Royer holds an MSc in International Relations from Bristol University in the United Kingdom. International advisor at the Ministry of International Relations of Québec since 2002, he’s been involved in international negotiations on multiple environmental and natural resources issues. From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Royer has been advising the Quebec government on negotiations issues under the Convention on biological diversity (CBD) and its Cartagena Protocol (living modified organisms) and access and benefit sharing of genetic resources, the UN Commission on sustainable development (CSD) as well as negotiations on water and forest issues. Since 2006, Mr. Royer is in charge, in collaboration with the Ministry for Sustainable development, Environment and Parks, of coordinating Quebec’s international position with regards to the negotiations under the UN Framework Convention on climate change. Mr. Royer will coordinate Québec’s participation at the next UN Conference on sustainable development (Rio+20) which will take place in Rio Janeiro, Brazil, in June 2012.

In addition, he overseas technical due diligence activities of Munich Re's Renewable Energy and New Technology (RENT) investments worldwide. Mr. Barats also is chairman and CEO of HSB Solomon Associates, LLC, an energy management consulting company that offers benchmarking and performance improvement services for the refining, petrochemical and power generation sectors worldwide. Solomon has conducted numerous energy-efficiency projects globally including those in China, India, South Korea, Brazil, Poland, Romania, MENA region, Canada and the USA. Over the last few years, Solomon established government and industry adopted CO2 baseline/allocation methods for refineries in the Netherlands, Great Britain and Canada. He has held this position since 2002. Mr. Barats has more than 25 years of business and technical experience in the global energy and insurance industry. Before joining HSB Solomon Associates, LLC, he was senior vice president at the American International Group, Inc., now Chartis Insurance. JOHN F. WILLIAMS, II – SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, HDR ENGINEERING John Williams is a SVP with HDR Engineering, Inc. based in NYC. He is also on faculty at Columbia University in the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Mr. Williams is a leader in a number of environmental, professional and charitable organizations. He is one of the original supporters of The Climate Group in the United States, a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, an environmental and energy advisor to the US Conference of Mayors, and a Fellow in the Urban Design Institute. Over the past 32 years he has advised communities of all sizes. Four years ago, he set out to create a framework for measuring the value of “green.” Working with a team of HDR economists, his Columbia students, a number of clients, and the Clinton Global Initiative they developed the Sustainable Return on Investment Public Decision Tool or, SROI, a means of assigning monetary value to the Triple Bottom Line. Williams is now focused on the creation of a graduate level training, network, and database development program as a collaborative effort between HDR, Inc. and Columbia University’s Center for Environmental Research and Conservation with a current expansion to include Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.

ELLEN JACKOWSKI – GLOBAL PROGRAMS, HP ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY, HEWLETT PACKARD COMPANY Ellen Jackowski leverages the power of HP’s portfolio focusing on the most energy efficient and environmentally responsible solutions in an effort to advance environmental sustainability initiatives for HP and its customers throughout the world. As the owner of Global Programs, Environmental Sustainability, Ellen seeks opportunities for HP to form partnerships, and sponsor research and events with an environmental purpose. SABRINA SPENCER – SENIOR MANAGER CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY, HSBC BANK CANADA As the Senior Manager Corporate Sustainability for HSBC Bank Canada, a subsidiary of HSBC Holdings PLC, she is responsible for developing and driving environmental sustainability programs across all HSBC businesses in Canada. Sabrina is particularly interested in developing programs which promote staff engagement in sustainability initiatives and encourage staff to incorporate sustainability into their everyday activities. In 2006, Sabrina joined HSBC Commercial Banking in Edmonton, Alberta. Prior to her current role she held various portfolio management and sales roles in Commercial Banking in both Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia. Lisa works with MWH’s Clean Energy and Sustainability Services group, providing clean energy, energy efficiency, sustainability and climate services to MWH clients. Within this group, Lisa leads the Energy Management practice, which assists clients with energy audits, project prioritization and overall energy strategy, including planning for net zero operations. Lisa’s 10 years of experience in MWH includes energy, construction and information technology. LIBA RUBENSTEIN – DIRECTOR, ENERGY INITIATIVES, NEWS CORPORATION Liba Wenig Rubenstein runs News Corporation's Global Energy Initiative (GEI), the company-wide commitment to grow sustainably, minimize the environmental impacts of its operations – including over 100 companies on five continents – and to inspire others to take action – including its one billion customers, 50,000 employees, and thousands of business partners. Ms. Rubenstein joined the News Corp. family in 2006 when she founded the IMPACT Channel for causes and politics at MySpace.com and managed its Public Affairs team, launching groundbreaking initiatives around climate change, Darfur, ‘viral' fundraising, and the US Presidential election. Greg is a career environment and sustainability professional with 30 years of corporate and international consulting and sales experience. Greg has been actively involved sustainability programs since 1994 and energy efficiency, climate change and renewable energy management programs since 1997. Greg has worked in high tech electronics, aerospace and semiconductor industries for such companies as Quantum Corporation, Hewlett Packard, TRW Aerospace and Hughes Aircraft Company.

HANNAH JONES – VP OF SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS & INNOVATION (SB&I), NIKE INC. Hannah Jones is also the lead on Nike Inc’s Government and Public Affairs strategy. As VP of Sustainable Business & innovation, she leads the team mandated with enabling the company to thrive in a future state sustainable economy through closed loop business models. Nike defines the sustainable economy as an economy where people, planet and profit are in balance. SARAH SEVERN – DIRECTOR OF HORIZONS AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY, NIKE INC. Sarah Severn has an extensive background in consumer research and advertising prior to joining Nike where she has spent the last 14 years in a variety of roles. Originally recruited in 1993 to establish a consumer insights department in Nike’s European headquarters she moved into an environmental role and in 1995 relocated to World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon as Global Director of the Environmental Action Team In 2005 Severn took on the newly created role of Director of Horizons within the Corporate Responsibility team. For the past 10 years she has lead Nike’s efforts around climate change and is also now focused on developing Nike’s climate change advocacy strategy. Since then, Nike has transitioned its focus from corporate responsibility to Sustainable Business and Innovation (SB&I). Severn’s role as part of the SB&I team is as the Director of Stakeholder Mobilization. Sarah served on the Pacific Northwest regional council of the President’s Council for Sustainable Development from 1995 to1997, the board of The Natural Step U.S from 1997 to 2004 and the State of Oregon Governor’s Climate Change Integration Group from 2007-2008. Currently she serves on the board of Focus the Nation, the Advisory Boards of Sustainable Northwest and the Oregon Natural Step network and is a core faculty member of the Prince of Wales and University of Cambridge Business and Environment Program.

PAUL CLIFFORD – DIRECTOR, HEAD OF PROJECT & EXPORT FINANCE AMERICAS, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK Paul joined SCB in January 2005 following SCB's acquisition of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited’s (ANZ) Project Finance business in the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. POLLY SHAW – DIRECTOR OF EXTERNAL RELATIONS, SUNTECH AMERICA Ms. Polly Shaw is based in San Francisco, California. Suntech America is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suntech Power Holdings, a global leader in manufacturing solar cells, panel modules, and building-integrated solar solutions. Ms. Shaw leads Suntech America policy and government affairs issues and represents Suntech on the board of key U.S. industry associations, including the Solar Energy Industries Association, Solar Alliance, and the Large Scale Solar Association. She has worked for 18 years to design policy models and programs that advance clean, efficient energy use and climate protection in the U.S., and energy efficiency and methane capture programs in the U.S. and China. Prior to joining Suntech, Ms. Shaw was a Senior Regulatory Analyst at the California Public Utilities Commission, where she led implementation of a $2.2 billion California Solar Initiative solar incentive and R&D program. Prior to the CPUC, Ms. Shaw served as a Program Officer at the Energy Foundation and supported EPA climate programs while at ICF, Inc. Mark has held this position since 2006, working from Swiss Re's Americas headquarters in Armonk, NY to coordinate the company’s sustainability related activities in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Mark is a member of the Governor of Connecticut’s Climate Change Adaptation Subcommittee and contributes on a regular basis to publications, briefings and conferences on climate change issues. Mark joined the Swiss Re Group in 1994 and has worked in various non-life marketing teams including those responsible for regions such as United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Japan. MARK KENBER – CEO Mark is an economist who has worked on environmental issues for fifteen years in the non-governmental, public and private sectors. Since 2004 he has been Policy Director of The Climate Group and a member of the organization's Executive Management Team. During this time he has overseen the development of Voluntary Carbon Standard and the Breaking the Climate Deadlock Initiative and supported The Climate Group's interaction with public policy-making at the local, national and international levels. AMY DAVIDSEN – US EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Amy Davidsen has over 20 years of banking experience and most recently served as the first Director of Environmental Affairs at JPMorganChase responsible for environmental global policies and procedures. Amy focused on four key strategic areas: developing and implementing the firm's global environmental and social risk management policies; developing business opportunities for the low-carbon economy; advancing the public policy dialogue on climate change; and managing the firm's environmental footprint. Prior to establishing the Office of Environmental Affairs, she advised global Private Banking clients on their philanthropic efforts specifically on the environment, micro-credit, human rights, and venture philanthropy. In addition, Amy has held positions at JPMorganChase advising not-for-profits, law firms, and individual clients on their financial needs; managing the banking relationships of domestic financial institutions; and, auditing the firm's international loan portfolio. In 1997, Amy took a leave-of-absence to facilitate a USAID job-creation loan program in Sarajevo, Bosnia. From 1988-1990, she was the Finance Manager of Women's World Banking, an international microfinance not-for-profit dedicated to providing poor women access to credit. Ms. Davidsen holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Brown University.

KATE KREBS – DIRECTOR OF SUSTAINABLE RESOURCES As Director of Sustainable Resources for North America, Kate is responsible for forging public-private solutions to climate change. Based in Washington DC, she is focusing on deepening The Climate Group's reach into member organizations. She also works closely with the ‘Together’ campaign’s partners to help expand resource efficiency across their operations. From 2000 through mid-2008, Kate served as Executive Director of the National Recycling Coalition (Washington DC). Responsible for national policy development and stakeholder engagement, Kate's work with NRC included: developing strategies to strengthen sustainable materials economies in North America; building collaborative partnerships with leading companies to demonstrate best practice and innovative solutions; engaging thought leaders in the coalition; and forging working relationships to support policy goals. An early leader of the recycling movement, Kate joined California's Arcata Community Recycling Center in 1980 - when recycling was still in its infancy. There she designed and implemented community-based solutions for business and residential waste management. She also pioneered an initiative to enable locally-based manufacturing enterprises to use recycled materials. In 1995, Kate founded Fire and Light Originals, a for-profit manufacturing enterprise that uses recycled glass to make high-end glass tableware. She has also served on the governing board of the Arcata Economic Development Corporation.

ALLISON HANNON – SENIOR FINANCE SECTOR MANAGER Allison focuses on advancing The Climate Group’s efforts to execute investible clean technology projects that can be scaled and replicated in the US and China. She has co-authored many reports for The Climate Group including Delivering Low Carbon Growth: A Guide to China’s 12th Five Year Plan and American Innovation: Manufacturing low carbon technologies in the Midwest. Allison is also a frequent speaker at forums and helped organize the C40 Large Cities Climate Summit and the Midwest Climate & Energy Summit. Allison joined the organization in the summer of 2006 as its first North American employee. Prior to working with the finance sector, Allison opened The Climate Group’s Midwest office in Chicago and worked as a Corporate Engagement Manager in the New York office. She earned her MA from Columbia University’s Climate and Society program and her BA (with honors) in Environmental Studies from The University of Chicago. Currently, Allison is pursuing her MBA at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

DASHA RETTEW – HEAD OF MEMBER ENGAGEMENT, NORTH AMERICA Dasha Rettew focuses on engaging The Climate Group’s members, the world’s 1000 most influential leaders on climate change, in partnerships that are helping put our economy and earth on track for a cleaner, more prosperous future. Dasha is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities for these F500 companies and global cities to take a leadership role in scaling up clean technologies such as LED lighting, electric vehicles and smart buildings. Dasha recently worked in partnership with the New York City Department of Transportation to launch the City’s first LED lighting trial in Central Park. Prior to joining The Climate Group, Dasha supported the US Green Building Council New York Chapter's Programs & Education Committee, which focused on the expansion of the LEED program (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) for buildings. In addition, Dasha has held positions consulting for women’s micro-enterprise groups in Kenya and educating students about art & environmental issues.

EVAN JUSKA – HEAD OF US POLICY As Head of US Policy at The Climate Group where Evan leads the organization’s U.S. policy research and initiatives. Based in New York City, his current work includes engaging financial institutions on the policies and financing mechanisms needed to scale up clean technologies. Evan comments frequently on U.S. climate and energy policy in the media, including in the Guardian, Carbon Finance and Point Carbon. He also advizes companies on policy developments and corporate strategy. Evan holds an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA from Seton Hall University.

BRAD SCHALLERT – MEMBER ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR, NORTH AMERICA As a member of the Global Alliance team and based in the New York office, Brad supports member engagement, recruitment and renewal, as leads special events such as the annual North American Member’s Meeting. His interests and experiences are related to international climate policy, regional carbon reduction programs and technology deployment and diffusion. Prior to joining The Climate Group, Brad worked as an intern with the US EPA’s Region 2 office in New York where he collaborated with researchers and policy makers to generate curriculum for “Climate IQ,” a climate change speakers series for EPA employees and the public. Brad also consulted for the Environmental Defense Fund where he co-wrote a report analyzing international climate negotiations and alternate forums outside of the UNFCCC for making tangible progress. Brad spent 2006 to 2008 as an agroforestry Peace Corps Volunteer in Sahelian Cameroon. During that time he managed well installation projects and disseminated agroforestry techniques within a small community of 46,000 people. Brad holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs and the Earth Institute and a BA in International Studies and Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon.
