Football is about the group domination of space; cricket is about an individuals encounter with time like leadership. Not only rain, but wind, dew, humidity, cloud cover and even tides can effects the game of cricket, for two main reasons: they affect the pitch itself; and they influence the movement of the ball as it is bowled, either through the air or off the pitch. Cast, race, colour and even circumstances can effects the leadership. The Challenge of Leadership/ Cricket 3. Cricket is a game of pressure. He / She leads his/her troops on the field, who weighs up the conditions and the opposition, who chooses the tactics and makes the difficult decisions, who takes the big risks ; and, when things go badly, it is his / her Strategy and Captaincy
