CENTRIFUGAL BLOWERS SPLIT TYPE CASING:- RRIPL Fans are available either in Single Inlet Single Width (SISW) or Double Inlet (DIDW) type and fabricated and stiffened with MS angles, at Inlet & Outlet drilled flanges are incorporated for easy connection of the fan to the system. This impeller is of backward inclined design, statically and Dynamically balanced and mounted on theshaft Drive arrangement could be direct or through V belts depending on specific requirements.

CENTRIFUGAL BLOWR ID / FD / SA HIGH PRESSURE BLOWERS:- RRIPL range of flat backward bladed Fans are designed for applications with light to medium dust loads. This range of fans is used in applications where the dust load is too high and a relatively high efficiency is required.

TUBE AXIAL FANS Axial fans are suitable for large quantities of air at low pressures while producing very little noise. Compared with Centrifugal Fans, Axial Fans have the advantages of Lower price, Shorter Ducts, reduced space requirements.

DIRECT DRIVEN AXIAL FANS Axial fans are suitable for large quantities of air at low pressures while producing very little noise. Axial fans have the following advantages when compared with Centrifugal fans. Direct driven or multi-stage fans are suitable for vertical or horizontal mounting. by running two long cased fans in series with contra-rotating impellers it is possible to achieve up to three times the pressure of a single stage fan of equal diameter and speed. In this instance the casing covers the entire length of the motor and impeller and an inspection door is provided. Essentially for duct mounting where flanges are bolted back and front. The casing covers the impeller track and a portion of the motor projects beyond the end of the flange. Best installed at the end of a duct or on air conditioning equipment.

BELT DRIVEN AXIAL FANS Axial fans are suitable for large quantities of air at low pressures while producing very little noise. These Fans have the following advantages when compared with Centrifugal Fans: Belt driven axial fans are used in situations where it is important that the motor is kept out of the airstream owing to type or temperature of the gases/fumes involved. An additional advantage is the accessibility of the motor for easy maintenance. Belt driven fans suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting. Long cased, the casing covers the entire length of the impeller, shaft bearings and belt pulleys positioned inside and the motor mounted outside. An inspection door is provided for access.

AIR POLLUTION CONTROL EQUIPMENT RRIPL offers Air-Pollution Control Equipment which includes suction hoods, air conveyance ducting, blowers & air pollution control equipment like dust collectors. Dust and fume are extracted by hoods and carried by ducting which are controlled by dust collectors, A blower is connected with an electric motor Our wide range of Air Pollution Control Equipment are used to regulate, manage and filter the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. The Equipment are effective in cleansing the air and eliminating a wide range of unwanted particles and impurities in the air like organic compounds, hazardous air pollutants, odors, and other air toxics. RRIPL range of Centrifugal Blowers have narrow width fully shrouded radial bladed Impeller, suitable for clean air application. High pressure Blowers are mainly used in the combustion and forced ventilation industries, where a high pressure is required at a low volume.

SPARE IMPELLERS RRIPL provides a full fan refurbishment service at our Factory. Any make or type of existing fan can be completely refurbished by our experienced team of Engineers, which enables the Customers to re-cycle and re-use their old fans when making plant modifications or simply restore the fans during a routine overhaul, prolonging their usual life. If a customer needs to minimize downtime, we can also manufacture replacement parts at our Factory and then have them fitted on-site by our experts.

FAN COMMON PROBLEMS

Common problems affecting the performance of Fans can be classified as follows Causes of Vibration:

• Material deposition on the Impeller • Loose fixing of setscrews, bearings, bolts, or

couplings. • Mis-alignment or excessive wear of belts coupling

or bearings. • Bent Shaft. • Excessive system pressure or restriction of airflow

due to closed dampers • Inadequate structural support or mounting. • Externally transmitted vibration.

Non-performance:

• Incorrect system design calculation or testing procedures.

• Incorrect blower RPM. • Blower wheel rotating in wrong direction - check

motor leads. • Improper wheel to inlet cone clearance. • Inlet or discharge air leaks, clogged filters, coils or

damper settings. • System effect due to improper inlet or discharge

connection as illustrated above.

Excessive Noise:

• Fan operating near “stall” due to incorrect system design or installation.

• Vibration originating elsewhere in the system. • System resonance or pulsation. • Improper location or orientation of fan intake and

discharge. • Inadequate or faulty design of supporting structures. • Nearby sound reflecting surfaces. • Loose accessories or components. • Loose drive belts. • Worn out bearings.

Premature Component Failure:

• Abrasion or corrosion of internal fan components. • Vibration due to Impeller out of balance. • Lack of lubrication of bearings. • Mis-alignment or power transmission components

or bearings. • Bearing failure from incorrect or contaminated

lubricant or grounding through the bearings while arc welding.

• Extreme ambient or airstream temperatures.
