All leaders are excellent listeners. It is a key method of

influence.

A likeable employee is often perceived as being

better at what they do than an employee with a

negative personality.

Listen with respect, attentiveness and interest.

To get someone on your side ask interesting

questions and then listening intently to the

answers.

What you notice as important about patient safety as you

consider our meeting today?

How did the experience compare to your expectations

about patient safety?

What patterns are emerging in this work of patient safety?

How might we reframe this experience in our daily

practice?

Taking few minutes at the end of a meeting to reflect on our

work about patient safety develops consciousness as well as

efficacy about this goal.

Employees have very limited time for reflection when

competitive pressures will be escalated into their

company.

Don't stop to think, work harder and drive forward.

The value of reflection helps employees do a better job.

Reflection builds one's confidence (self-efficacy) in the

ability to achieve a goal ex. Patient safety.

High and low self-efficacy determine whether or not

someone will choose to take on a challenging task or

"write it off" as impossible.

The reflection boosts the performance

A negative leadership can diminishes the

pharmacovigilance performance via destruction and

humiliation of the image of employees as also their value

and drive them to crazy.

A negative leadership can dispose and discredit dreams

and imagination of their employees; deframe and

disbelieve their abilities and opinions.

Any employee must stay away from negative leadership!
