follower.

type of style. The Autocratic, the participative, and the
free-reign styles.
Autocratic Leadership
Autocratic leadership is characterized by the power and decision-making in the
leader.
Advantages of Autocratic Leadership
It provides strong motivation and reward for the leaders.
It result in quick decision; and,
Less competent employees can be employed to carry out orders.
Disadvantages of Autocratic Leadership
Frustration, fear and conflict develop easily;
Employees feel that they produce on account of pressure rather than being spurred by motivations; and,
Creativity of employees is stifled
Participative Leadership
Participative is the characterized by the decentralization of
authority.
Free-reign Leadership
Free-reign leadership generally avoids power and responsibility, leaving the group to establish their own goals and work out
solution to their problems.
