Answer:
Mr. Salman is facing a situation in which he has to persuade his board of governors for
appropriating a budget for training of employees when two members of the BOG are of the view
that enough has been spent on the training while rest of the two members have not made their
mind. Now, Mr. Salman, in order to persuade the two members who are with the mindset that
enough has been spent on training, the effective verbal communication skills would be requiredto demonstrate. For this purpose, in addition to the three Ps of vocal tuning-pace, pitch, and
pauses- one more P should be incorporated in the verbal communication: passion. Moreover, thearticulation of the sentences should be adequate. The concrete facts, along with the Interesting
and effective vocal elements will be instrumental in persuading the two members of the BOG.
Furthermore, while starting to present, Mr. Salman should start with what the members need toknow. He should limit the amount of information up to the need of the presentation. In addition
to above said tactics, he should use the following verbal communication tools:

message. The face of Mr. Salman should be amicable. His forehead be relaxed withtranquil eyebrows & nose and concentrated eyes would communicate the strong positive
message to the members so that they may be convinced with the information you
