From the Board From the Board -- Greg NuttallGreg Nuttall, A belated Happy New Year to all my fellow alumni!

Our President, Carl Newton, has us off to a great year with an exciting new fund raiser in

the works, but he needs our help to make it a success. On May 24th, it will be Comedy Night

at the Lyric sponsored by LEADERship Foundation. In September, we will be doing our 2nd

These two events allow the LMCA Foundation for Youth to keep the Martin Youth LEADER-

ship program and the MYL Scholarship funded. These programs are the legacy of the Alumni of LEADER-

ship Martin County, and you are critical to their continued success in both funding and volunteering.

Business Person of the Month Business Person of the Month ---- Kerry SeesKerry Sees

Spot Lighting Gina Golino!Spot Lighting Gina Golino!

Leaders lead but Gina Golino, Class 22, leads with her sneakers on and her heart in the right place – a real trailblazer managing her position as Marketing Director for the family owned business, Forward Electric & Air Conditioning, Mom to her two beautiful

children Anthony age 15 and Alyssa age 13, coach to her daughter’s traveling softball team as well as supporting her son’s Football Booster Club and the list goes on. Our LEADERship community is very grateful for all her contributions. Gina sits on the Martin Youth LEADERship Planning Com-mittee as well as the Gulfstream Council Learning for Life team that keeps both our adult and youth leader-ship groups safe when they are climbing the high ropes and learning new team skills.

Somehow Gina still finds time to volunteer with the House of Hope Food Pantry. Just this year, her and her children collected more than 6,000 pounds of PB&J for the hungry. Gina is also a driving force as a Tykes & Teens Board Member, United Way of Martin County Hunger Task Force, Council on Aging Meals on Wheels and Habitat of Humanity Women Build volunteer. She is a contributing member of all the area chambers; a board member of the Indiantown Chamber and the YMCA Advisory Council. Thank you, Gina, for all you do. You are a leader to emulate!

Now just tell me what kind of sneakers you’re sporting! Submitted by Lisa Teetor, Past President & Class Magnificent VII

Kerry Sees (Class 16) is a long-time resident of Martin County, with a deep

history of community service. Kerry graduated from Martin County High School

back when it was the ONLY high school in Martin County. After completing her

education, Kerry chose to live right here in the community that she loved so much.

She settled down in Palm City and started her career, family and commitment to her

community.

Kerry is currently the Payroll Manager for the Martin County Clerk of the Circuit

Court and Comptroller. In her current role, she oversees the payroll operations, for

all county employees, including Fire Rescue, Supervisor of Elections and, of course,

Clerk of Court employees.

While many of you know Kerry through her chamber activities, she has also served

our community in numerous other facets. Kerry has been very involved with her church community, includ-

ing nearly a decade of service as a youth group volunteer (for which she deserves a medal) and participating

in a mission trips to build homes. She has also served on the Palm City Neighborhood Advisory Council and

remains an active voice in the future of our Palm City community. She is currently working with the

LEADERship Planning Committee on Government Day.

Kerry has a true entrepreneurial spirit, having run two successful small businesses, she understands the

meaning of hard work. She also carriers her Florida Insurance Agents 220 license as well as her Certified

Payroll Professional Designation. She is married to Bob Sees and they have one grown son, Brian. In her

free time, she enjoys boating and organic gardening.
