GLOBAL PROJECT

The signature restaurant of Le Méridien Abu Dhabi, Latest Recipe redefines the concept of all day dining, offering a taste of discovery; a philosophy of combining live active stations, unique flavour combinations and showcasing the latest culinary trends.

The main challenge of the project was to create an exciting ambience and provide customer an exciting way of dining in. Letting them see how their dishes are being prepared while offering a variety of dishes such as daily menus, buffet, and action cooking.

The restaurant is inside the Le Meridien Hotel, the kitchen is facing a large influx of customers in a short time. The design of this kitchen was thought to thin an utmost flow of these people, while leaving them enjoy their meal in a relaxing setting.

EXECUTION

The restaurant features 2 exclusive private dining rooms along with a Chefs table seating up to 12 guests each. The overall restaurant and bar seats can accommodate 175 persons. A total of five live, interactive cooking stations bring the culinary theatre to life, featuring a modern interpretation of dishes from the Middle East, India, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Furthermore, an indoor charcoal grill showcases the freshest land and sea produce grilled to perfection, live within the restaurant. Central to the restaurant is the “ mother of pearl bar ” serving fragrant cocktails, champagne, fine wines, and spirits. Guests are invited to place their orders directly with the chefs at the interactive buffets.
