INDIRA GANDHI AND R.K.BALASUBRAMANIAN

R.K.Balasubramanian was born on 2nd April, Nadu

Street, Mylapore. He is a son of R.V.Krishna Ayyar, The

Legendary Personality of Indian Parlimentary history and

considered as a founding father of the Indian Parlimentary

system. Balasubramanian studied in the primary classes

at the well known Dadi Vathiyar School, Mylapore. He

then studied at P.S.High school,Mylapore. During the

Second World War his family went to their home district,

Salem and so he studied at the Salem Municipal high

school and passed the SSLC Examination from there. He

joined the Loyola College in Chennai for the Intermedi-

ate class. In 1945 he joined Pachiappas College for the

B.A (Hons) Economics in 1947 and passed the Honors

examination in 1950. He joined the Madras Law College

in 1950 and took the Law degree in 1952. He served theapprenticeship under the well known Criminal Lawyer

Public Prosecutor V.T.Rangaswamy Ayengar.

He was enrolled as an advocate in 1953. He was

practicing at Saidapet and George Town Criminal Courts.

He was just picking up practice, when Dr.V.K.John a

wellknown Company Lawyer, was impressed by the

drafting of Balasubramanian and requested him to join the

Firm John and Row. He served there about three years.

He was attracted by Parlimentary Law and Parlimentary

work. Thus he deviated from the Legal Profession and

took to Parlimentary work. By this he lost a goog Income

Profession and took to thankless Parlimentary work.

A large number of members of the Legislative Assembly and

Parlimentary came to him and sought his help for preparing theirParlimentary Activities. He did this as a Public service and without

expecting any rewards or returns. This is a massive service no

Indian can did in a Parlimentary Democracy.

He does this because of the huge back ground and as a hom-

age to this Great father. He was awarded the Man of the year award

by The American Biographical Institute, USA in the year of 1996 for

his contribution to Parliamentary Democracy. He was nominated

as a member of the research board of the American Biographical

Institute in recognition of this work for the Parlimentary Life. He was

completed the age of 85 on the 2nd April 2013 and has entered the

age of 86. Even at this advanced age he is involved in educating

the Members of the Legislature and Parlimentary Bodies. Lawyers

Line wishes him along, useful and happy life. Even today he sits at

his parental house in the backyard of his bungalow surrounded by

books, a type writer and a phone. Meeting friend, and every others.

When late professor Jameel ahamed he was Reader in political

science in madras university formally. Informed Mrs.Indira Gandhi

R.K.Balasubramanian who is helping the members of the Legis-

lature and members of Parliament to draft questions and motions,

amendments and extra, and he is the only person to provide usual

suggestion. Today non of the ministers including Sonia Gandhi

and Dr.Manmohan Singh has courtesy to reply letter sent to them.

My wife has led a petition under Hindu Marraige Act 13

Ans: Unless your wife agree, you can not live with your

wife. You may le a case for restitution of conjugal rights.

Court may permit your petition. If still your wife do not turn

up, then its difcult ?

You did not state the reason under which your wife ask

for divorce/ judicial separation. In my opinion, your wife will

get an order for judicial separation and one year later on she

may apply again for divorce.

So, it is better to solve your personal problems between

your wife by conciliation in the presence of your close rela-

tives, neighbour and friends. Without knowing the real reason,

nobody could help you. If there is no mistake at your side,

you may tell the entire story to an advocate for proper legal

remedy.

Under Hindu Marriage Act, a wife can le judicial separa-

tion on the several ground with the husband and she has to

prove the same ground in the Court of Law. Now it is ques-

tion on what ground ur wife seeking separation from u..? She

Now your father dead or alive ?

If your brothers had disposed of their properties before

your birth, you can not claim anything from them. If they

have not yet disposed, you can claim it.

In case, your father is alive and retained one share or he

had any other property, you can claim the property from himequivalent to that he had settled to your brothers.

In both the cases, you have to le case before Court of Law

in which case it will take its own time and also legal expenses.
