Ready, Set, Grow!Kindergarten Readiness

Ready, Set, Grow! helps develop strongfoundational skills for a successful kindergarten experience! Children willlearn to:

n Develop fine motor skills

n Be a good listener

n Work successfully in a classroom

n Develop phonemic awareness

n Enjoy reading and increase literacy awareness

n Understand what numbers mean and how they relate to the world around us

Students will also make new friends, enjoyplenty of play time, and develop a sense of “fun” around learning.

Lions LeapAcademic Enrichment for Grades 1-6

The Lions Leap program helps studentsentering grades 1 through 6 – and thoserepeating kindergarten – experience academicsuccess, learn valuable organizational skills, and learn new strategies that can be carried into the new school year!

Academically, students will reinforce andenrich academic skills in the areas of language arts, reading, written expression and mathematics. Organizational skillsand strategies are embedded in thelearning process. Classes are structuredand non-graded, with an average 1- to -8teacher-to-student ratio.

Socially, students are empowered tobroaden friendships, increase self-esteem, and see learning as “fun”. Through positive reinforcement and a structured, comfortable environment, students experience academic success – some for the first time.

Cubs CampSummer Fun for Grades 1-6

Cubs Camp is all about FUN! Get active,explore, create and play! Students enteringgrades 1 through 6 will engage in themed weeks focusing on activities such as:

n Hands-on Science

n Technology

n Sport Skills Development: Teamwork and Fair Play

n Build-it Activities

n Nature and Animal Activities

n Crafts and Music

n Fun, Fun…and More Fun!
