I highly recommend Lauren Patrick as a candidate for a teaching position. I have known

Mrs. Patrick for four years and have served as her Instructional Coach.

Mrs. Patrick is a superb, well organized classroom teacher. Her rapport with students is

extraordinary as she is able to motivate the most challenging of students. She always speaks with

her students in a kind and loving voice but is able to redirect inappropriate behaviors with a look

and a quiet but firm voice. I have observed Mrs. Patrick many times during both Math and

Reading and every observation has always been superb both in terms of content deliver and

classroom management.

Mrs Patrick uses technology flawlessly to enhance her classroom instructions. She uses

the Smartboard and Elmo to facilitate student learning in all content areas. Mrs. Patrick also uses

laptops and i-pad minis to help engage students in learning reading and math.

In addition to her work with students in the classroom, Mrs. Patrick actively participates

in her grade level professional learning community. She is also a member of the School

Improvement and leader of the Safe and Caring Team. Mrs Patrick is an outstanding educator

and would be a wonderful addition to any elementary building.
