The audience is ranges by ages, gender, years of experience, certification levels, and subjects taught. The majority of the audience are math teachers. Several members of the audience teach other content areas as well as some elective classes.

Problem Identification

The school system recently began providing students with email accounts. The reason for emails are to provide students with the ability to use Google Apps and begin to learn how to use the internet safely. There are many teachers avoiding Google Apps, like Google Classroom, due to the lack of confidence in using the tools in their classroom although they have received several trainings through state department employees. Teachers are looking for ways to effectively and productively incorporate these apps into their lessons.

Introduction

The task analysis was conducted through a procedural analysis due to the learning experience being procedural. I started creating a detailed outline while keeping the end goal in mind. The end goal is for participants to be comfortable incorporating Google Classroom into their units and lessons. When creating the outline I walked through the exact steps the participants would have to do. I made sure to write notes if I thought something may work better in another phase of the presentation. After completing the task analysis I we back through it, step by step. I made a few more changes and now feel everything is in the appropriate place to ensure success for the participants.
