7 // CUTMASTER 60i UNLEASHED6 // CUTMASTER 60i UNLEASHED

SL60QD 1Torch – This torch has a lot going for it. First, it is compatible with the entire Cutmaster family and other power supplies in the industry. Second, “QD” stands for quick disconnect, which gives you the option of replacing only what you need to replace – the torch or the lead – and that saves you money in the long run.

Durable LED display – The system’s large, high-visibility display allows for easy viewing of all machine settings from a distance. The intuitive, easy-to-use display instantly provides the necessary feedback for keeping your settings and cut quality optimised.

INCREASED CUT CAPACITY AND CUT SPEEDCutmaster 60i’s recommended cut capacity is 16 mm with a maximum sever of 38 mm and a 16 mm pierce.

SUPERIOR DUTY CYCLECut more, faster and for longer. The machine’s duty cycle of 50% at 60 A while cutting mild steel equates to a 7.6 kW power supply rating – the highest output in its class.

RUGGED ROLL CAGEWith multiple lift points, the sturdy four-handle roll cage makes it easy to transport your Cutmaster 60i. The machine’s IP23S protection rating proves it is ready to face whatever elements come your way.

POWER FACTOR CORRECTION (PFC)If you find yourself with a poor connection via generator or otherwise, PFC will stop the draw from spiking and keep power flowing smoothly.

THE HIGHEST DEPOSITION SUB ARCESAB’s patented ICE (Integrated Cold Electrode) technol-ogy introduces a cold electrode into a twin-wire Sub-merged Arc Welding (SAW) process, increasing deposition rates by up to 50 percent over standard twin-wire SAW. A typical system features the Aristo 1000 AC/DC power source and a carrier like a Column & boom or the Gantrac 300 gantry system and with filler metals like BlockPacs of OK 10.62 flux.

ESAB’s flexible, modular gantry and column & boom systems offer a totally integrated solution that includes welding process, manipulator movement and control of third axis products like the ESAB roller beds or position-ers. ESAB’s modular design concept allows total customi-sation using standard components.

HIGH-PERFORMING TRACTORS AND WELDING HEADSFor mechanised single, twin wire or tandem SAW and GMAW, consider the A2 or A6 tractors with PEK process controller. The built-in feed unit provides an even, stable wire feed speed while four-wheel drive ensures an ac-curate travel speed. Automated carbon arc gouging can also be performed with the A2 Multitrac and PEK process controller. A digital control panel allows users to pre-set and accurately control the welding parameters. ESAB also has a full line of welding heads for many different processes and applications. For example SAW with single, twin, tandem and multiwire, GMAW heads, SAW compact heads for confined spaces and strip cladding heads for SAW and ESW.

AUTOMATED GMAW WELDINGESAB offers different tractors to automate GMAW welding when using standard welding torches, including the com-pact, battery-driven Miggytrac and the robust Railtrac, which is constructed with aluminium and stainless steel to minimise problems associated with harsh environments. Railtrac uses 42V AC power from the power source or a standard Makita® 18V battery. It can work in horizontal and vertical applications and can be programmed for weaving. Both systems connect easily to most ESAB wire feeders and torches.
