We are proud to announce that the 2nd Latin America Congress on Controversies to Consensusin Diabetes, Obesity and Hypertension (CODHy) will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil onMarch 22-25, 2012.
The 1st Latin America CODHy Congress was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2010. It wasa vibrant academic event, with a regional flavor, and attracted approximately 1900 participantsfrom 52 countries.
The 2nd Latin America CODHy Congress will also be locally oriented and will focus on topicsin diabetes, obesity and hypertension related to the region. Allowing ample time for speaker-audience discussion, the Congress aims to reach up-to-date and agreed-upon answers toongoing debates, through evidence-based medicine and expert opinion.
The prominence of local experts and international leaders accentuates the distinctive OrganizingCommittee of the 2nd Latin America CODHy Congress. This unique mesh of academic specialistsis the building block on which the exceptional academic discussion of the Congress stands.

discussing, in a debate forum, evidence-based medicine and expert opinions oncurrent controversial issues

• To reach consensus on certain controversial issues, through debates, round tablediscussions and plenary lectures
