Tree Lighting | Community Center | Free Begin the Holiday Season on Friday, December 1, 2017 with Lathrop’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event will start at 6:00pm at the Lathrop Community Center. The evening will include a countdown to light the tree, choral performances, refreshments, and a special visit from a friend who lives in the North Pole!

Breakfast with Santa | Community Center | $10 Join us as we celebrate the season with Breakfast with Santa! The event will include breakfast, an opportunity to take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, games, an ornament craft and family fun! Purchase your $10.00 ticket in advance as we have limited seating available. All proceeds go to support the Lathrop Youth Advisory Commission. For tickets and more information please contact the Lathrop Community Center or the Lathrop Generations Center.

Lathrop Christmas Parade | 5th Street in Lathrop | Free Start your Holiday Season with the sights and sounds of the Lathrop Christmas Parade. Bring family and friends to 5th street in Lathrop to watch the floats, marching bands, dancers, cars and to welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus. Local businesses, schools and community groups are welcome to add an entry into the parade. The City of Lathrop Parks and Recreation Department Activity Assistance Fund
The City of Lathrop Parks and Recreation Department offers an Activity Assistance Fund. City of Lathrop residents who are in need of financial assistance for any youth recreation program (17 years of age and under) are eligible to apply. Activity Assistance Funds are provided to Lathrop residents on a first-come, first-serve basis in accordance with eligible income requirements, program availability, participant eligibility and available funds.
To apply, an Activity Assistance Fund Application must be submitted for each participant. Applications are available at the Lathrop Generation Center and online at Lathrop.RecDesk.com. Approved individuals will be eligible for a maximum award of up to $200 per child and per fiscal year (July 1-June 30) to be used as stated above. Financial assistance recipients are required to pay fifty percent (50%) of program fees.

The City of Lathrop Parks and Recreation Department Activity Assistance Fund
The City of Lathrop Parks and Recreation Department offers an Activity Assistance Fund. City of Lathrop residents who are in need of financial assistance for any youth recreation program (17 years of age and under) are eligible to apply. Activity Assistance Funds are provided to Lathrop residents on a first-come, first-serve basis in accordance with eligible income requirements, program availability, participant eligibility and available funds.
To apply, an Activity Assistance Fund Application must be submitted for each participant. Applications are available at the Lathrop Generation Center and online at Lathrop.RecDesk.com. Approved individuals will be eligible for a maximum award of up to $200 per child and per fiscal year (July 1-June 30) to be used as stated above. Financial assistance recipients are required to pay fifty percent (50%) of program fees.
