Why do you get canned with this book?01.

Because it is a very original, humorous

and special book

03. Because each and

every one of its tales takes us to a world of

catlike fantasy

02. Because it is an insane catlike

encyclopaedia for cat and insanity lovers

04. Because of its

amazing illustrations

She began to draw when she was this

li le and kept on doing it till today.

She began by drawing everything

she saw and ended up by drawing

everything that cannot be seen, which

is funnier. And, as writing is nothing

else but drawing with le ers,

she also writes.

01. Because it is a book

for laughing out loud

02. Because it is a story

covering myriad feelings.

03. Because it has the funniest and most surprising ending

04. Because it is wri en by a very promising

author

Why do you get canned with this book?

He was born in Majorca. He qui ed Fine Arts studies for Film studies in Madrid, and a er several years working as a lm, TV and adverts technician, he decided that what he really wanted to do was children’s books. Step by step, he is achieving it. He currently lives in Panama with his wife, daughter and two cats: Pillow and Carabruta

Humour in its purest catlike form

SynopsisIn the Novell family (mother, father, son, daughter, uncle, cousins, etc.), everyone has a NOT very good-looking sight. So to speak, they actually see awfully! That is why, when a cat gets into their life, everything gets complicated: unintentionally, one by one sit on top of him, or feed him more than he needs... a real disaster! But a disaster meant for not stop laughing, finishing with a very happy ending for each and all of then... specially for the cat named Pillow.

01. Because it is a book

that encourages creativity and

imagination with fun

02. Because it teaches us that, with a positive perspective, we can

solve problems

03. Because it is book for all kind of readers..., but specially for the

curious ones

Why do you get canned with this book?

Synopsis‘Being a cat and being curious are almost two insep-arable things. Moustache was a chic, re ned and good-looking cat, a very dandy cat with excellent manners.’ But one day, his precious whiskers got burnt because of his curiosity. How terrible! What will Moustache do? Maybe fake whiskers might be the solution...or maybe the solution is in the hands of a boy as curious as him.

Gracia Iglesias has published poetry, children

books and novels. She writes be er when her

cat Juanita curls herself between the keyboard

and the computer screen. She is always the rst

to read and listen Gracia’s stories.

Guridi likes pencils, not for eating

them – he actually was into that once

–, but for making lines. Sometimes,

these lines appear when he hears

something. And most of the times, he

reads something, and as if by magic,

words enter into his ears and come up

as images through his pencil.

01. Because it is an

exquisite adventure picture book that

begins in a bookshop

02. Because it happens in

a city the reader discovers bit by bit

along with its protagonists

03. Because it encourages

comradeship and bonds to solve con icts

04. Because it is an in-teractive book, as it

counts on the reader to help nd Omar between its pages

Why do you get canned with this book?

Since she was a li le girl, she already wrote and drew tales. She really likes colours and creating worlds where characters are alive. Finding those places, researching or making up the environment where the story is going to take place are her favourite tasks. ‘I love travelling and make my characters travel as

well.’ She considers herself as a catlike author. She adores animals, but cats specially. ‘I always

try to include cats within the drawings, even if they are not in the text.’

SynopsisOmar and Lila are two cats living among books, in Istanbul, the city of cats. One day, Omar disappears and Lila looks for him all over the city, attended by the cats living in the museums, palaces, the port... They all show us the city, from head to tail... literally. But the naughty Omar is hidden where he is less expected.

Look for the passport and get ready to travel

01. Because it is a

surprising wordless book, where

thousands of stories can be created

02. Because the reader

will nd out the di erent personalities a cat may have, and he

will play with them 03.

Because Cucho Cuño is an author that

creates an iconic and di erent language

04. Because it is a story told through images,

being suitable for working with it

in class

Why do you get canned with this book?

He is the author of his own books, someone else’s or shared. He draws since he can remember and writes since he learned to. Since he was a li le boy ‘he drew people, things and specially animals.’ He has always lived with animals and these are a continuous source of inspiration for him. ‘Animals tell me their stories with their eyes, and I patiently translate them into human language.’

We all are part cat, part duck

SynopsisOne day, you wake up... and you are no longer a cat. Your re ection is not the same. Is it a dream? No, it is true... You are a duck! At the beginning it is not funny. At all. But..., who has not dreamed of swimming like ducks and ying among the clouds? Maybe this change is not for bad. I always loved feathers! I will be a duck cat... Or maybe not? The image of his cat wearing glasses has travelled all around the globe, but Andy Prokh was not always such a recognised photographer. Until recently, he was an economist in St Petersburg, the city where he lives. One day, he qui ed everything to photograph what he loves most: ‘One must photograph what you love most, and I deeply love my daughter and my cat.’ Andy Prokh’s photos picture the life and games of his daughter Kate and his cat LiLu Blue Royal Lady. His work is black-and-white; it is the love between Kate & Cat the one colouring each and every photo.

01. Because it is not an

ordinary alphabet. It is a photography and

love masterpiece

02. Because it is Prokh’s

rst book, globally known for his photos

03. Because it shows a

true friendship between a li le girl and her cat over the

years

04. Because each

alphabet le er shows us three di erent and

inspiring words to learn

Why do you get canned with this book?Kate&Cat’s AlphabetPhotos by Andy Prokh

SynopsisIt is not an ordinary alphabet. Kate & Cat’s Alphabet shows the life of a li le girl and her cat, their adventures, their games and their love. Each alphabet le er and each photo evokes three words printed on each page. But you can imagine many more. Because this book, besides of being a book of admiration and learning, it is a book for... dreaming.
