OUTBURST Practice begins Wednesday, May 29! Members Wanted! Nathan and Haley VanHorn will work with our students this summer in a music boot camp to get Outburst, our youth praise band, ready to open in the fall!!!
We have 28 members of our Sanctuary Choir and 15 friends and family members who will be travel-ing to London May 26th - June 2nd. While there, our Sanctuary Choir will be joining with approxi-mately 120 other singers from across the United States and Great Britain to perform the London premier of “Jubilate Deo”, by Dan Forrest. The performance will be under the direction of Dr. Jamie Meaders, founder and Artistic Director of Vox Anima London. Dr. Meaders is a Hickory, MS native and was the former head of Choral Activi-ties at Mississippi College.
Dr. Dan Forrest, of Greenville, SC, will be the Com-poser in Residence for the performance. The con-cert will take place on June 1st, at Cadogan Hill, home of the Royal Philharmonic. Please be in prayer for our group as we head “across the pond” for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
