LAST 15 DAYS @JEE
INTRODUCTION
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at NITs, IIITs, other
centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating state governments and other institutions. The JEE
(Main) 2015 will be conducted from April 4 - 11, 2014.
The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which candidates have to take if they are aspiring for admission
to the UG courses offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad.
Type of Examination
JEE (Main) – 2015 shall have two papers, Paper- 1 (B.E/ BTech) and paper-2 (B. Arch./ BPlanning). Candidates may take paper-1 or Paper 2 or
both as per the courses.
Subjects & Questions Pattern
The paper one will comprise in three sections (A, B & C) consisting of mathematics, chemistry and physics having 30 questions from each subject
as equal weightage. The entire paper one will consist of 90 objective type questions with multiple choices.
The paper two will also comprise in three parts as part 1, part 2 and part 3. Part one (Aptitude Test) will consist of 50 objective type questions
with multiple choices. Part two (Mathematics) will consist of 30 objective type questions with multiple choices. Part three (Drawing test) will
consist of 2 questions which will have to be attempted on a drawing sheet given separately.
JEE Main 2015 Marking Scheme
The maximum marks will be 360 for paper one and 460 for paper two. Each objective type question will carry 4 marks for correct response and
each drawing question will carry the 70 marks for the correct response. Each objective type question will follow by the four options, of which
only one will correct answer. The candidates will have to select the right one among the options. 25% of the allotted total marks to the question
will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Where, there will not any response against any question in answer sheet, the marks will not be
allotted or deducted. In case of two selections among the answers and if anyone will find as correct yet, it will be treated as the incorrect answer
and will be punished with negative marking.
OBJECTIVE Our main objective at present is to align all our preparation towards a good performance in the examination
